Real Housewives Awards Range From Most Dramatic RHOC To Hated RHOA: Vicki Gunvalson & Brooks Ayers Among Winners
They’ve got awards for best-dressed and worst-dressed and trophies for everything from ugliest dogs to fastest crawling baby. But across the Internet as well as on Bravo, awards also have soared in number for the growing number of current and former Real Housewives.
Getting in the award spirit, Real Housewives Of Orange County (RHOC) stars Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge teamed up with SheKnows to share their own awards.
The legendary Old Girl (OG) of Orange County (OC) Vicki Gunvalson, immersed in Brooks Ayers’ cancer drama, made her a shoo-in for the Most Dramatic Orange County Housewife, agreed Judge and Beador.
The duo awarded themselves as the Most Fun when it’s party time.
“The Shannon-Tamra combo is a good combo for the party scene,” pointed out Beador.
For Most Emotional, the decision was hotly contested, but one surprise contender at least for runner-up was Heather Dubrow, who also took the prize for Best Conflict Manager.
While those RHOC awards were relatively kind, Bustle has doled out awards for the most hated cast members of various Real Housewives of all time. Put Real Housewives Of New York (RHONY) Jill Zarin on the list for wrecking her former friendship with Bethenny Frankel.
Also on the list is Kenya Moore of Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Her legendary bickering kept the RHOA season humming along, although when Kenya took a megaphone to a reunion, it was more shouting than humming. Also from RHOA is NeNe Leakes, who made it to the Most Hated list for her famous no-holds-barred approach to voicing her views.
For years, the taglines of the Real Housewives franchise have been an engaging part of the shows. Now Glamour has ranked the best Bravo Real Housewives taglines from various seasons.
On Season 3 of Real Housewives Of Orange County, Vicki Gunvalson had a stellar tagline.
“Everything’s got to be huge, large, and grand,” proclaimed Orange County’s Old Girl.
Then Ramona Singer of Real Housewives Of New York City stated her blunt views on reality on Season 4.
“If people can’t handle the truth, it’s really not my problem,” pointed out Singer.
Thinking about being great gave DeShawn Snow a chance to strut her wisdom on the first season of Real Housewives Of Atlanta.
“I always knew I was destined for greatness,” proclaimed Snow.
Porsha Williams used the fifth season of the Real Housewives Of Atlanta to point out that what the outside world saw (at least in her eyes) was the absolute reality.
“People say I have a picture perfect life, and I do,” boasted Williams.
But when it comes to the top tagline of all time, Alexis Bellino of the Real Housewives Of Orange County took the prize during Season 5.
“Am I high-maintenance? Of course I am—look at me,” declared Alexis.
But although it is the Real Housewives and not the Real House Husbands that’s lasted for years, many of those Real Housewives could not sustain those high-maintenance lifestyles without their men. With that in mind, Bustle gave out awards for the best Real Housewives couples of all times.
Yolanda and David Foster of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills are high on the list. They are unusually caring and candid about how much they love each other, and as Yolanda has struggled with Lyme disease, David has been by her side.
How much do Heather and Terry DuBrow of RHOC dote upon each other? Although he’s a plastic surgeon and she’s a reality TV diva, they seem to be genuinely in love. And Heather demonstrated her faith by trying out the use of leeches on her own perfect body.
Add Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann to the best Real Housewives couples list, because it all began on Real Housewives of Atlanta. From accepting Kim just the way she is to adopting her girls, Kroy has shown his genuine love for Zolciak.
