Rob Kardashian Shares Cute Instagram Post After Reportedly Offering To Donate A Kidney To Lamar Odom

Rob Kardashian has returned to Instagram amid news of his offer to donate one of his kidneys to Lamar Odom. On Sunday, October 25, Rob Kardashian posted a photo of a cute English Bulldog sitting beside a tub full of Coronas.

In the caption, Rob Kardashian wrote, “Sunday Funday with my new Godson @chapothedoglord.”

Rob Kardashian has become more and more active on social media in the weeks since his brother-in-law, Odom, was found unconscious at a brothel in Pahrump, Nevada. However, at this point, it is unclear whether or not Rob Kardashian has visited Odom in the hospital. While he was seen driving Khloe Kardashian’s Range Rover on the day Odom was transported to Los Angeles from Las Vegas, he has yet to be photographed at the hospital.

That said, Rob Kardashian has told fans he is praying for Odom, and according to a report, he’s also offered Odom his kidney. Currently, Odom is on dialysis, and while it hasn’t yet been revealed that he will absolutely need a transplant, it is a possibility.

“Rob Kardashian has offered his kidney to brother-in-law and close friend Lamar Odom should the seriously ill former NBA star need a transplant,” the Daily Mail Online reported on Monday. “It’s unclear whether Odom and Rob are a compatible match for a kidney transplant, but [Rob Kardashian] is willing to undergo medical tests to find out.”

Added a source, “[Rob Kardashian] is willing to do whatever it takes to help Lamar recover. If that means donating a kidney then so be it, Rob has a big heart and he’s willing to step up to help his friend.”

The Daily Mail Online also revealed the “Special Report” segment of The Doctors would include a discussion about Rob Kardashian’s potential offer to Odom.

For the last few years, Rob Kardashian has been struggling with issues of depression and weight gain, but luckily, the typically-reclusive reality star appears to have taken a turn for the better in the last several weeks. Last month, Us Weekly reported Rob Kardashian had already lost more than 15 pounds by following a fitness program designed by Gunnar Peterson, and having his meals delivered by a chef. Then, around the same time, Rob Kardashian shared his first selfie in months, and in the photo, his face appeared much slimmer than it has been in past months.

Throughout 2015, Rob Kardashian has steered clear of the red carpet, and only been photographed publicly a handful of times. He’s also been removed from the cast of Keeping Up With The Kardashians since 2012, and in 2014, he skipped the wedding of his sister, Kim Kardashian, and her husband, Kanye West.

Now that he’s lost weight, however, Rob Kardashian may soon return to the spotlight. According to the magazine, Rob Kardashian filmed scenes for the upcoming 11th season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which is scheduled to premiere next month.

“He’s not getting paid if he doesn’t film … [Rob Kardashian] has a $2 million-a-year contract. He realized he couldn’t give up this huge opportunity.”

As for whether or not the current health crisis of Odom will be seen on the show, that has yet to be revealed. Although there have been reports, claiming the cast’s reaction to the news will be included, no official word has been given by the network.
