Josh Duggar Molestation Devastates Jessa And Jill: ‘How Did This Happen?’ Sisters Ask In ‘Jill & Jessa: Counting On’ Preview [Video]

Being molested by Josh Duggar left his sisters, Jessa and Jill, “devastated,” they confessed in the new 19 Kids And Counting spin off series, Jill & Jessa: Counting On. In a promotional video for the series, the sisters tearfully explain that they are still very much affected after being molested by Josh, reports Radar Online.

Josh is now out of rehab for sex addiction, where he received treatment after it was revealed he was a member of the site Ashley Madison. Even though Josh Duggar is out of rehab, however, his sisters still feel the sting of his betrayal.

In the preview for Jill & Jessa: Counting On, which TLC confirmed will premiere in December, a pregnant Jessa confides that she and her sister, Jill, “were devastated” Josh took advantage of them.

Jessa explained that the sisters “couldn’t believe it. You have to wonder, how did this happen?”

Jill Duggar echoes her sister’s thoughts in the preview, which was released October 18, confessing that she was “angry and hurt and all of those emotions all mixed together,” after Josh molested her, according to Radar Online. “I cried a lot of tears, still do,” Jill admitted to the cameras, explaining that she’s “hurting.”

Earlier this summer, “the whole world was shocked” to learn that Josh Duggar molested five teenage girls in 2002 when he was underage — and two of his victims were his sisters, Jessa and Jill Duggar, Jill explained in the preview. The sisters initially stayed mum about their ordeal, unsure how to react.

Then in August, according to Us, Josh Duggar was rocked by scandal again when the ultra-conservative Christian admitted he cheated on his wife, after the infidelity site Ashley Madison was hacked, and news of his membership was leaked.

According to Us, Josh Duggar, who is married with four children, had not one, but two, separate subscriptions on the Ashley Madison site. Josh listed that he was interested in “one-night stands” and “experimenting with sex toys.”

After his membership to the infidelity site was revealed, Josh Duggar admitted he is “the biggest hypocrite ever,” in a statement released on the Duggar family website. Josh explained that while “espousing faith and family values,” he held a secret life of “viewing pornography on the internet,” which culminated in”a secret addiction.”

Josh Duggar confessed, in the statement, that he then “became unfaithful to [his] wife,” reports Us Weekly. Josh then checked into rehab for sex addiction, while network TLC canceled 19 Kids And Counting, a show that followed the life of the Duggar family, including Josh, Jessa, and Jill.

Despite the scandal and betrayal, both Jessa and Jill Duggar are hopeful. Jill revealed that they “feel like we’re stepping on,” in the promo for Jill & Jessa: Counting On, and they hope to “come out of this fire stronger as a family unit.”

Jessa Duggar Seewald, who is due to deliver her first child on November 1, gushed that there are “still a lot of exciting milestones ahead” in the preview video, reports People. To celebrate her impending delivery, she also shared maternity shots over social media.

According to People, Jessa said a “sweet friend came to town and took these pictures for us,” confessing that the pre-baby photo shoot was “so much fun.” She also gushed that “soon we get to meet this sweet new Seewald!”

In the sweet photos, which Jessa shared over Instagram, the young mother-to-be cradles her baby bump, as husband Ben kisses her head. People also reports that November 1, Jessa’s due date, is also her first wedding anniversary, making the day extra special.

Despite the embarrassment of being molested by Josh Duggar, it appears his sisters are moving forward, and ready to tackle their next TLC project, Jill & Jessa: Counting On.
