Taylor Kinney has been very vocal about being proud of Lady Gaga in her accomplishments, as the pop singer has switched from music to acting in American Horror Story, but recently Kinney’s support wavered somewhat as he commented on his fiancé’s love scenes. While Taylor continues to be supportive of Gaga’s acting ambitions, he finds it uncomfortable sitting through the sex scenes.
The Family Reacts To Lady Gaga’s American Horror Story Orgy
The premiere episode of American Horror Story‘s fifth season was a hit with a big buzz generating, due to Lady Gaga and her portrayal as the seemingly insatiable Countess Elizabeth. Taylor Kinney describes an American Horror Story viewing party for that premiere with him joining Lady Gaga’s father for the viewing, adding that series showrunner Ryan Murphy was eager to know everyone’s thoughts on the episode.
Kinney says the experience was awkward for both himself and for Lady Gaga’s father, as both men responded to Gaga with the same uneasy reaction: “Wow! Good job, honey,” said Taylor.
“I remember I was walking out, and Ryan Murphy, who created the show and directed that episode as well, he’s like, ‘Hey, what did you think?’ I don’t think I said anything,” Kinney said of the American Horror Story premiere, according to Us Weekly. “I’m still trying to process what the hell I just watched. But I couldn’t be more proud and she’s excited and she’s loving it.”
The sanguine orgy notwithstanding, Lady Gaga has also had an intense love scene with Finn Wittrock, who plays Tristan Duffy, and Gaga also seduces Angela Bassett’s character Ramona Royale in other episodes of American Horror Story. More debauchery can surely be expected, if Ryan Murphy holds true to form with the upcoming episode, “Devil’s Night,” and gives fans the traditional dark Halloween special episode.
Taylor Kinney Proves He’s A Family Man
Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney have been making the rounds, supporting each other, as they stepped out to promote their individual projects, so it’s no surprise the happy couple were seen attending the world premiere of Rock the Kasbah. During the event, Taylor commented on his engagement to Gaga and his hopes for their future.
“I told her I don’t mind doing the little white chapel thing,” he said of his plans to marry the American Horror Story actress, reports UPI. “She wants what she wants. I want to make sure that it’s right and it’s what she wants… We’re going to take our time and do it right.”
Taylor Kinney comes from a relatively large family with three brothers and he said that he would like a big family for himself with Lady Gaga, adding that he wants a minivan with enough children to make up an entire soccer team. While Kinney wasn’t shy about revealing his plans to raise a “brood” with Lady Gaga, it seems those plans are either on hold or moving along at a snail’s pace. The couple blamed their heavy work schedules for their inability to make any specific wedding plans, revealing that Taylor’s work on Chicago Fire and Gaga’s American Horror Story gig have even prevented the couple from nailing down a wedding day date.
In addition to his work on Chicago Fire and Rock the Kasbah, Taylor has just completed filming on Daryl Wein thriller Consumed, which is the story of one mother’s fight against the world of genetically modified foods.
Meanwhile, it has been rumored that Lady Gaga will star in the upcoming action film, Machete Kills in Space, which is to be directed by Robert Rodriguez and may also star Alexa PenaVega and Mel Gibson.
