Niall Horan Of One Direction Almost Electrocuted When Fans Throw Water On Him

Niall Horan of One Direction is not happy over what happened at a concert last night and, honestly, neither are his fans. Hollywood Life shared that fans at a concert last night threw water on Niall was he was on stage. Of course, throwing water on Horan wasn’t very nice, but that wasn’t all that happened. It actually all went down while he was playing the electric guitar and could have ended up electrocuting the singer. Luckily, nothing bad happened to him, but Niall Horan was not happy as he walked off stage, even taking off his guitar. It did mess with the show and obviously upset Niall by the look on his face.

One fan shared a video on Twitter letting everyone know exactly what happened to Niall. Along with it, she shared the hashtag #CanYouRespectNiall, which quickly started trending as fans shared that they were scared for the One Direction singer as well.

Niall Horan was playing his electric guitar to the song “Little White Lies” when this all went down. He was having a good time, playing the guitar, until the water was thrown at him. When it happened, Niall just looked down upset and then walked away from the fans. Horan took his guitar off as well, obviously so that he could have someone check it and also keep himself safe. Luckily, it didn’t keep him from performing during the rest of the One Direction show. Things could have been so much worse, and Niall should consider himself a very lucky man.

Fans of One Direction were very upset over what happened and were all over Twitter. Nobody wants Niall Horan to get injured, and this is something that should be thought about when it comes to every single concert. There is no reason that you ever want to throw water or any kind of liquid at a performer while they are on stage. Niall Horan is very lucky that he didn’t end up getting electrocuted, but this kind of thing could also cause a big slip and fall.

The Evening Standard actually gave an update on what Niall Horan had to say after this all went down. Niall actually spoke out to the crowd a bit later making sure they knew he was not happy.

“Ow! Things hurt when you throw them at people. Alright? UUHH.”

This is not the first time that One Direction has had things thrown at them on stage. Niall Horan’s water incident is hopefully the last, though. Harry Styles once got hit with a bottle between the legs and ended up doubled over in pain over it. Styles was also hit in the face once with a Red Bull can. His mom, Anne Cox, went to Twitter to speak out about it and to tell fans to stop.

“No harm done… This time… Unless you’re on a sports field is it acceptable to throw things at people?!”

Some concerts do not allow certain bottles and things due to this issue. You would think that someone could have a glass of water or bottle of water near Niall Horan without throwing it at him, though. This could make Niall think twice about playing the electric guitar so close to the edge of the stage as well. Niall is going to be watching the fans extra close at least for a while after this incident.

Niall Horan is really lucky that nothing too bad happened to him. One Direction fans are still in an outrage over what happened. Sound off in the comments below on your thoughts about this incident.
