‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam’s Verdict Is Read, Shockers Hit Those In Genoa City

Fans will most certainly not want to miss Friday’s episode of The Young and the Restless. Spoilers indicate that the verdict in Adam Newman’s trial will be read, but there is a big shocker ahead in this episode. Just what is slated to go down in the October 23 show?

She Knows Soaps shares that viewers will see Cane talking with Neil and Lily, insistent that he will prove he had nothing to do with the ransom on Hilary. However, as Young and Restless spoilers anticipate, Paul will soon show up with a search warrant and the police will be searching Cane’s home and at the gym.

Cane is furious, but the police are searching Cane’s locker at the Club and they find a hoodie that matches what the man wore during the ransom pick-up. The Young and the Restless spoilers note that Dylan will review some surveillance footage that shows Cane leaving something in the locker room the day after the ransom incident.

Of course, Cane will vigorously defend himself as Devon, Lily and Dylan question all of the supposed evidence piling up. Things also get a bit physical between Devon and Cane as tensions rise.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Joe will be hanging around in the midst of all of this, and viewers are wondering if Joe might ultimately be behind this big set-up. There will be heated moments between Cane and Lily, in particular, as he brings up her night with Joe and questions why she isn’t believing him regarding the ransom.

Elsewhere in Genoa City, Billy and Adam talk about Billy’s testimony. Billy shares that what he said was for Delia’s sake, not Adam’s. As everybody heads into the courtroom to hear the verdict, Chelsea tells Adam that she loves him.

As Celeb Dirty Laundry details, Adam is found guilty of the hit-and-run felony of Delia’s death. Several people share statements with the judge before sentencing, including Esther, Victor, Chelsea and Kevin. Adam pleads for a sentence that still allows him to be a father to his son, but he says he knows he deserves to be punished. The judge gives Adam a sentence of 10 years in prison.

Billy and Victoria will be at the tree for Delia at the park, where Billy talks about Adam’s guilty verdict and things being over. He talks about things being his fault, as he failed to protect his daughter and Victoria urges him to be honest and let go of the anger. Billy cries and Delia’s voice will be heard telling him she loves him.

When Adam is being led to a police van outside, a car runs him down. The Young and the Restless spoilers anticipate that Adam will be seen unconscious after the hit-and-run. Obviously, this will set up a lot of drama for the week to come. Will Adam be severely injured by this hit-and-run? Just who is it who ran him down? Many naturally suspect that Chloe might be behind this, though Victor will be suspicious that Billy could have been involved.

While Adam has now been found guilty in the trial related to Delia’s death, that doesn’t mean this situation is fully resolved and ready to be laid to rest. Many Y&R fans suspect there is a lot more to come on this front in the episodes to come. There’s also a mysterious Halloween fire ahead and lives may be lost. Viewers will not want to miss a minute of the action ahead on The Young and the Restless as this all plays out.
