‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’: Lamar Odom’s Overdose Fallout To Be Featured On Season 11 [Report]

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 11 will reportedly include details of Lamar Odom’s recent health crisis. Although Odom himself may not appear on the series, at least until he is physically up to it, the fallout from his October 13 overdose will reportedly be a main storyline of the upcoming season.

On October 22, Hollywood Life revealed how Odom will be included in Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 11, which premieres on the E! Network next month.

“[Keeping Up with the Kardashians] is just weeks away from coming back on TV and Lamar and his recovery, as well as the situation, will be a big storyline. They will not show him until he is TV ready, but his recovery will be a major part of the show moving forward.”

Last Tuesday, after spending several days at a brothel in Pahrump, Nevada, Odom was found unconscious with mucus running out of his nose and mouth. According to a TMZ report at the time, Odom was not in good condition when he arrived at a nearby hospital, and because of his dire condition, doctors opted to move him to a larger hospital in Las Vegas, the Sunrise Hospital, where he remained until this past Monday.

While Odom, who was mentioned a number of times during the recent 10th season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians episodes, has been out of his coma since Friday, the former professional athlete isn’t out of the woods yet. As TMZ reported just yesterday, Odom remains in a “fragile” mental state after undergoing two emergency surgeries earlier this week. According to the report, Odom wasn’t doing well mentally, and because of that, his doctors had placed a ban on visitors, aside from Kardashian. On October 21, Hollywood Life claimed Kardashian was doing her part to ensure no one entered his hospital room without permission.

“Khloe’s not only Lamar’s wife, she’s also acting like she’s his guard dog. She doesn’t let anyone see him unless they’re cleared through her first. Even the doctors have a password for her when they knock on his door to check on him. She doesn’t want people stressing him out, trying to talk to him and bother him. And she certainly is standing on guard, willing to take anyone down with her bare hands if they try to take a picture of Lamar.”

Although TMZ reported news of Odom’s surgeries, no other details regarding the issue were given. It was, however, noted that his Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wife continues to stay at his side, as she has since he was hospitalized last Tuesday.

Kardashian and Odom announced their engagement in 2009 while filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Then, as the season continued, fans watched as Kris Jenner and the rest of the family came together to throw a wedding just a short time later. In September of that year, the couple tied the knot, and months after that, they began starring in their own Keeping Up with the Kardashians spinoff, Khloe & Lamar, which aired on the E! Network for two seasons.

At this point, there has been no official confirmation from E! regarding Odom’s role or storyline on Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ upcoming season.

For more of the Kardashian/Jenner family, tune into the 11th season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, when it premieres on Sunday, November 15, at 9 p.m. on the E! Network.
