Kardashian Family Social Media Accounts Back Online After Harrowing Few Days

Kardashian family social media accounts are back online after a harrowing few days as everyone has rallied around the health and well-being of NBA star Lamar Odom.

Odom was found unconscious and unresponsive in a Nevada brothel on October 13. Most believed he wouldn’t pull through initially. Estranged wife Khloe Kardashian rushed to his side, and her famous family largely joined her.

There was a lot of speculation that Odom wouldn’t pull through, and for days he lingered on the brink in a medically induced coma.

Many believed the family was there to say their goodbyes, so naturally, there was not a lot of time for the Kardashian family social platforms to be as active as they normally are.

On Friday, October 16, reports began to emerge that Odom had opened his eyes and was responsive, able to communicate verbally and even text. Over the following weekend, he continued to gain strength, and since then, the family’s hiatus has ceased.

In fact, today was a busy day for most of the fam with Kim Kardashian West celebrating a birthday. While Robert Kardashian stayed mum on the subject, matriarch Kris Jenner showed why she’s America’s favorite mom with a heartfelt tweet to Kim.

Prior to Jenner’s triumphant return, she tweeted on October 17 in Lamar’s honor.

Kris’ other daughter, Kendall Jenner, has also resumed social media activities, after a gripping tweet on October 14 in which she simply stated, “please don’t go.”

Fans of Jenner had initially wondered what the tweet’s purpose was, but as the tragic news began to unfurl nationally, most of her followers rallied around her.

Since that time, Jenner’s Twitter presence has been considerably pluckier with memories of twerking and laughter over Kylie Jenner’s most embarrassing moment.

On Instagram, she also plugged the music of Little Willie John “to get us into a groove.”

On the topic of Kylie Jenner, she is the one Kardashian family member not to unplug from social media throughout the Odom incident. In fact, on October 16, she posted a picture of herself with Odom along with the caption, “Start your morning with a prayer.”

She also had a “message for the haters” on Tuesday (hint: it was a middle finger) along with more than two dozen additional tweets.

Caitlyn Jenner has stayed pretty mum on the topic of Odom but did not cease social media activities during the ordeal, though Caitlyn isn’t as excessive with the tweets as Kylie.

She wished Kim Kardashian a happy birthday today as well.

One person who didn’t was Kim’s husband Kanye West, and a rumor that came down the pike this week has the hip hop star souring on the relationship he has with Kim.

Some reports, which you won’t find on the Kardashian social channels, have pregnant Kim being sick of Kanye worrying about the baby while another report notes that Kanye “is embarrassed going out with Kim in public” and that she is “slowing him down.”

Kanye, of course, could squash those rumors if he so desired by making an update to his Twitter account, but until then, the speculation is likely to continue.

What do you think about this rumor, and are you as relieved as most people to see the Kardashian social media accounts back in full force?
