Beyoncé Shuts Down Her Assistant On Red Carpet — But It’s Not What You Think, Poses With Chicken For Photo Shoot [Video]

When you’re Queen Beyoncé, it’s easy to get your demands fulfilled. At the Tidal music event in New York on Tuesday night, Beyoncé shut down her personal assistant, who was helping the “Drunk In Love” singer spruce up for photographers, reports the Mirror.

The incident made it to Instagram, where sharp-eyed fans noticed Beyoncé calmly mouthing “stop it” as her assistant fussed over the singer’s purple silk dress, adjusting it so Beyoncé looked perfect. As the assistant worked her way up to the plunging neckline, which revealed the superstar’s ample cleavage, Beyoncé shut down any further adjusting so the photographers could get their shots.

The amazing dress Beyoncé wore not only highlighted her cleavage, but showed off the singer’s long legs, as well.

Of course, as soon as Beyoncé asked her to stop, never breaking a beautiful toothy smile, the assistant immediately got out of the way, reports the Mirror. Beyoncé was at the Tidal music event to perform along with Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Meek Mill, and other artists.

Despite the show-stopping performance, fans are still talking about Beyoncé and her “stop it” demand. One fan commented that the incident “was like swatting a fly — no questions asked just a demand,” as Beyoncé shut down the assistant.

“I would have SO been this over zealous woman Beyonce had to tell to stop it,” another fan commented, while a third Beyoncé fan posted that “I feel like everyone around her walks on eggshells making sure they don’t do anything wrong! And you know what… I would too!”

Although another fan commented “[t]hat girl went home, cried, and questioned every decision she’s ever made,” Beyoncé and her assistant, Sam Greenberg, reportedly have a good relationship, and even attended a U2 concert together last summer, reports Cosmopolitan.

Last July, Greenberg said in an interview with Vogue magazine that she’s committed to her role with Beyoncé, making sure she’s available for the superstar’s every need — without outshining Beyoncé.

Greenberg explained that a job as a personal assistant to Beyonce is “about looking clean and looking cool, and not trying to be much in the spotlight because that isn’t why you’re there.” She takes her job with Beyoncé seriously, and told Vogue in the July interview that “[i]t is also representing whom you work for,” so staying calm on the red carpet is a must.

Sam also told Vogue that whether she’s on the road with Beyoncé or at a red carpet event like the Tidal concert, she tries to “blend into the background” by wearing black. That way “people won’t have to see a person in a bright pink top running back and forth on stage” at a Beyoncé concert — and she never outshines Beyoncé herself.

Travelling the world and high-profile photo shoots are a major perk of being the personal assistant to Beyoncé. At a recent photo shoot for Beat magazine, Beyoncé rocked a white one-piece swimsuit emblazoned with “Beat” in red — and even used a chicken as a prop, reports the Mirror.

Shot in the Hamptons on Long Island, New York, Beyoncé also wore a flirty summer dress while posing on a bicycle, and in one photo by photographer Ryan McGinley, an American flag while holding a white chicken.

In the rare interview with Beat, Beyoncé revealed that she loves pizza with jalapenos, and confessed that she would look to “Destiny’s Child Survivor era with the army fatigues” for Halloween inspiration, although she might call on “Bootylicious with the gold tooth and pink tips in my hair” for a costume.

Beyoncé reportedly loved the article, and gushed over it on her Instagram page, reports the Mirror, telling fans that “I sneezed on the BEAT and the BEAT got sicker.”
