Lamar Odom Looks Weak On Stretcher As Khloe Kardashian Quits ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’? [Photo]

Lamar Odom may be headed in the right direction when it comes to his health, but he is by no means out of the woods quite yet. Although the former professional athlete has come out of his coma and is now able to communicate, he’s facing months of rehab therapy, and in a new photo, he appears to be quite weak.

In a photo shared by TMZ on October 20, Lamar Odom was seen lying on a stretcher as he and wife Khloe Kardashian arrived via medical helicopter to Los Angeles from Las Vegas, where Lamar Odom had been receiving care before arriving to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The photos feature Lamar Odom lying on his back with a black hood pulled over his head and a leopard-print blanket keeping him warm.

Lamar Odom was found unconscious, as TMZ reported, on Tuesday, October 13, and has been under medical care ever since. On Tuesday afternoon, two women at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch South, a brothel in Pahrump, Nevada, entered Lamar Odom’s VIP suite, where they found him with mucus running out of his nose and mouth. In the days that followed, Lamar Odom was in a coma, with several vital organs, including his heart, kidneys, and lungs, failing.

Immediately after hearing of her husband’s condition, Kardashian, who filed for divorce from Lamar Odom in December, 2013, rushed to his side, where she has remained ever since. According to reports, Kardashian is completely dedicating her life to Lamar Odom’s care, and has reportedly walked away from Keeping Up With The Kardashians — at least for the time being.

“She has no plans to resume filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and will continue to be at the hospital every day with [Lamar Odom],” an insider told Radar Online on October 20. “But Kris wasn’t happy about Khloe’s decision because she is a huge part of the show. For now, she’s hoping Khloe will change her mind. Kris isn’t ready to play hardball with her daughter by reminding her that she is contractually obligated to do the show.”

“The rest of the family is also very concerned that Khloe is putting her life on hold for [Lamar Odom]. This recovery could take months. There are commitments that Khloe is obligated to do, and she just can’t not show up. It’s causing a lot of stress.”

Lamar Odom appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians a couple of seasons during his relationship with Kardashian. During one season, Lamar Odom was seen announcing his engagement to Kardashian after just 30 days of knowing her. Although their whirlwind romance took many by surprise, Kardashian’s family was ultimately supportive of the marriage, and Kris Jenner was a major factor when it came to planning their wedding. After they wed, Lamar Odom and Kardashian moved on to their own Keeping Up With The Kardashians spinoff, Khloe & Lamar, which followed their relationship for two seasons.

At this point, it is unclear whether or not Lamar Odom’s two children, Destiny, 17, and Lamar Jr., 13, and their mother, Liza Morales, traveled to Los Angeles to be at his side.

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian signed divorce papers over the summer, but due to a judge having yet to finalize their documents, they are still technically married, which means Kardashian was left in charge of making key decisions for Odom’s care while he was in a coma. She is also said to be the one who called for his move to Los Angeles.
