Khloe Kardashian: ‘KUWKT’ Star Seen In First Photos As She And Lamar Odom Leave Las Vegas, Latest Details

Khloe Kardashian has been photographed for the first time since leaving Los Angeles last week to be by estranged husband Lamar Odom’s bedside. In photos shared by E! News on October 20, Khloe Kardashian was seen outside of the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, where she prepared to board a helicopter with Odom, which transported them to the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

In addition to sharing photos, E! News gave an update on Odom’s condition, revealing the former professional athlete was now speaking in full sentences and able to swallow and eat his own food. The site also revealed Odom is being treated for aspiration pneumonia, which is described by Drugs.com as “a lung infection that develops after you aspirate (inhale) food, liquid, or vomit into your lungs.”

“You can tell it’s taking a toll on [Khloe Kardashian], but she is staying strong for Lamar,” E! News’ source explained.

According to the report, a source previously told E! News, “[Khloe Kardashian] goes everywhere with [Lamar]. If Lamar leaves the room for testing, she follows.”

While Odom’s condition is said to be improving on a daily basis, the 35-year-old’s road to recovery will include “a lot” of rehab in the coming months. Currently, Odom is “making fast progress” and able to move his arms and legs. However, he isn’t able to stand up, even when assisted, which may hint at cognitive issues.

As for his breathing, Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband is said to be “doing great.”

Khloe Kardashian and Odom left Las Vegas yesterday, October 19, after spending nearly a week at the Sunrise Hospital after Odom was found unconscious at a brothel nearby. According to a TMZ report on October 13, 911 was called after Odom was seen lying in bed unconscious with mucus coming out of his nose and mouth. Since the Saturday prior, Odom had been partying at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch South with a number of women and staying in a VIP suite on site. At the time he was found, Odom was reportedly unable to breathe on his own, but once he arrived to the hospital, he was intubated before being transported to the Sunrise Hospital, where he was treated for a reported drug overdose. On Tuesday evening, TMZ updated their report, revealing Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband was in a coma with several of his vital organs, including his lungs and kidneys, continuing to fail.

Just hours after TMZ shared the report, Khloe Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, boarded a private jet to Las Vegas, where Khloe Kardashian made it clear she would be at Odom’s side until he was better.

Khloe Kardashian’s relationship with Odom has been a hot topic on recent episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. During one particular episode, Khloe Kardashian was seen on the phone with Odom after learning of the sudden death of his longtime best friend, Jamie Sangouthai. During the show, Khloe Kardashian noted her concern for Odom, claiming she didn’t want to see him go off the deep end due to the tragedy.

Khloe Kardashian and Odom signed off on their divorce over the summer, but because a judge has yet to sign the final paperwork, they are technically still married, which left Khloe Kardashian in charge of Odom’s medical decisions.

People Magazine was first to report news of Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband being treated at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
