Khloe Kardashian Will Stay With Lamar Odom As He’s Expected To Recover After ‘Months Of Rehab,’ Will They Get Back Together?

Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband, Lamar Odom, is expected to make a full recovery after “months of rehab.” According to an October 19 report by TMZ, Odom is heading for what is expected to be a long recovery, but luckily, Khloe Kardashian will be at his side along the way.

“Doctors are telling Lamar’s friends and family rehabilitation will take many months, and they believe an undetermined amount of damage to his body will be permanent,” the site reported of Khloe Kardashian’s former professional athlete husband.

After he is released from the hospital, Odom will reportedly work with physical, speech, and other therapists in order to get back to his pre-coma health. Although Khloe Kardashian has yet to speak publicly about Odom’s current situation, TMZ‘s sources claims she’s vowed to be at his side through what is expected to be a long road to recovery.

Khloe Kardashian and Odom wed in September, 2009, just 30 days after meeting one another at a party thrown by Odom’s former teammate, Ron Artest (also known as Metta World Peace). Their wedding, as well as the moments before and after, were seen first on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and later on their own spinoff, Khloe & Lamar.

Khloe Kardashian and Odom appeared to be the perfect couple, but sadly, in mid-2013, Khloe Kardashian’s husband was linked to a number of alleged mistresses, and rumors of his drug use began to swirl. Still, Khloe Kardashian remained dedicated to their marriage, and despite Odom’s absence, didn’t file for divorce until December of that year. Khloe Kardashian and Odom’s divorce was finalized a couple of months ago, but due to the judge not signing off on their documents, they are still technically married, which raises the question of whether or not they’ll get back together. According to TMZ, a judge won’t sign off on their divorce officially for another 2-4 months.

“[Khloe Kardashian] has said nothing about her intentions with Lamar, or how her decisions might impact her relationship with James Harden,” TMZ explained, adding that Khloe Kardashian “dragged her feet” for more than a year after she filed for divorce reportedly because she still loved Odom and wanted to “save him.”

Khloe Kardashian is clearly dedicated to Odom at this time, but when it comes to a possible reconciliation, one report claimed that wasn’t something she’s currently thinking about. On October 17, Hollywood Life reported the following.

“Anything that’s romantic is the furthest thing from [Khloe Kardashian]’s mind. She simply wants Lamar to get better. She’s not thinking about any romance or sex or sweet gestures from anyone, including Lamar or James. She’s numb to those feelings. Her main concern is Lamar and his health!”

After Odom was hospitalized last Tuesday, Khloe Kardashian immediately boarded a private jet and flew to Los Angeles to be by his side. Mother Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian were also along for the ride, and stayed in Sin City to support Odom until Friday. Then, over the weekend, after Odom woke up from his coma, several members of the family returned to Las Vegas, including Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian. Odom’s children, 17-year-old Destiny and 13-year-old Lamar Jr., as well as their mother, Liza Morales, are also in Las Vegas as their father recovers from what is believed to have been a drug overdose.

Khloe Kardashian has remained silent on both Twitter and Instagram in the days since Odom’s hospitalization.
