Playboy Bunnies Claim The Playboy Mansion Has Turned ‘Boring’ As Hugh Hefner Is Tended To By Nurses Instead Of Young Women

A British glamour model named Carla Howe says that the Playboy Mansion is a shell of itself as Hugh Hefner refuses to update the look of the 80s decor. She notes that Hefner is no longer part of the lavish parties lasting late into the night. Instead, she says Hefner has set a strict 9:00 p.m. curfew for his live-in girlfriends and goes to bed after having dinner and watching one of his favorite old films. She goes on to note that the aging Playboy mogul spends more time being tended to by nurses than scantily-clad young women.

The Daily Mail reports that Carla Howe, who splits her time living between the U.K. and California, claims that Hugh Hefner spends most of his time playing board games and watching old movies instead of partying with the bunnies in the mansion. She alleges that the Playboy mogul rarely leaves the mansion and is adamant about not making any changes to the aging building. Therefore, Howe says the mansion is starting to look dated as if it is stuck in the 1980s.

“Most of the time all he wants is to play chess with his friends and watch old films. He almost never leaves home and refuses to change anything in the mansion the whole place feels like it’s stuck in the 1980s.”

The playboy bunny says the food in the home leaves much to be desired, as it is prepared exactly to Hefner’s aging tastes, which include hospital-like food such as beef with parsley sauce. For the girls that live in the mansion, Howe notes that a strict bedtime is in place. All girls must be in their rooms by 9:00 p.m. as Hef prepares to go to bed. She claims the nightly ritual includes dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by an old film at 7:00 p.m. and then bed.

When the infamous Playboy mansion hosts a party, Howe says the night runs no differently. She says that Hugh will make a brief appearance before retiring to bed. She says that living in the mansion is like “being in prison” as you are not allowed to invite friends to the house, and male visitors are strictly forbidden. She says the perks for being a Hefner girlfriend are also dwindling. Instead of the roughly $975-a-week allowance that the girls were previously accustomed to while living in the home, Hefner has axed the allowance and instead just offers free room and board to the girls living in the mansion.

The Playboy mansion isn’t the only place that cuts are being made in the Playboy business. Howe points out to the Mirror that the Playboy Bunny of the Year used to get a free Porsche. Now she gets a Mini Cooper that she has to return after one year.

“The Playmate of the Year used to get a Porsche. Now she gets a Mini Cooper that she has to return after a year!”

Carla says other things have changed in the house as well. She notes that it appears Hefner has finally become a monogamous man. She says the aging Playboy mogul no longer sleeps with his in-house bunnies, noting that the only girl that sleeps in his bed now is Crystal Harris, his young wife. Carla also claims that Hefner’s supposed heir, his 23-year-old son Cooper, is not at all like his father. She says he has a steady girlfriend and is shy around all the girls.

With Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner finally monogamous, taking away his in-house bunny allowance and cutting Playboy Bunny of the Year perks, it seems that there is good reason for the recent restructuring of the business as a whole. It was recently announced that Playboy magazine will no longer feature nude models and instead is working on rebranding its image.
