Liza Morales Custody Details Revealed As Lamar Odom Is Accused Of Injecting ‘Speedballs’

After Liza Morales’ ex-boyfriend, Lamar Odom, the father of her two children, Destiny, 17, and Lamar Jr., 13, was hospitalized on Tuesday, word hit the web, claiming the former couple was due in court to address their ongoing custody battle over their kids. However, according to an October 16 report by Entertainment Tonight, Liza Morales settled her dispute with Odom last month.

The case “regarding access and support to the children that they share” was settled in September, Odom’s former attorney, Robert S. Michaels, explained.

“This case was settled amicably and without any kind of trial needed. October 22nd was just going to be a follow-up telephone call with the judge.”

Liza Morales was in a serious relationship with Odom for 10 years, and the couple welcomed three children together during the time they spent as a couple. However, sadly, their third child, son Jayden, died of SIDS at just 6-months-old.

After their relationship came to an end, Odom met Khloe Kardashian at a party in Los Angeles thrown by his former Los Angeles Lakers teammate, Ron Artest. One month later, the couple wed, and in the years that followed, they chronicled their relationship for the E! Network on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Khloe & Lamar.

Earlier this week, following Odom’s tragic hospitalization, Liza Morales, their two children, and the aunt of Odom, a woman named JaNean, arrived in Las Vegas to be by his side as he continues to fight for his life, and on Thursday, Liza Morales’ children with Odom released a statement to Entertainment Tonight, asking for privacy as their father remains in critical condition at Sunrise Hospital.

“Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad,” the statement from Liza Morales’ children read. “We are here with our family and friends. We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers.”

Liza Morales has been nearly silent since flying to Odom in Las Vegas, but she did post a tweet to fans on Wednesday.

While Odom’s custody battle with Liza Morales has been confirmed to be over, reports regarding his health, recovery, and the moments leading up to his hospitalization, continue to swirl. In one of the latest reports, via the Daily Mail on October 16, Odom was accused of injecting speedballs, a combination of cocaine with heroin or methadone, prior to being found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada.

Below is what a source revealed to the website in regard to Liza Morales’ children’s father.

“Lamar had been partying hard with the girls, snorting cocaine, drinking and taking herbal Viagra. But then his mood changed. He suddenly wanted everyone out, he said he needed to be alone to get some sleep. It was around 6am on Tuesday and one of the girls went back briefly because she’d forgotten a purse or something. When she walked in she saw Lamar shooting up. It shocked her because she hadn’t seen him using a needle until then. She presumed he was speedballing.”

Liza Morales and her children, Destiny and Lamar Jr., have remained at the hospital since their arrival to Las Vegas on Tuesday. Also at the facility is Kardashian, who arrived on Tuesday, via private jet, with her mother, Kris Jenner and her sister, Kim Kardashian, who have since flown back to Los Angeles. Kendall Jenner is expected to arrive soon.
