Katy Perry Teases Mobile Game As She Continues Her World Tour

Katy Perry is a busy lady these days. Not only is she busy wrapping up her “Prismatic World Tour,” but she’s also coming out with a mobile game.

Katy Perry is going to have her own mobile game. The “Dark Horse” singer shared this cute and colorful cartoon version of herself on Instagram on Wednesday evening.

“Introducing the cartoon version of me in my new game #KatyPerryPop! We’ve been working on this game for over a year now. I’ve created the most fun, colorful world that helps guide your musical dreams. App coming soon!”

Katy Perry is the latest celebrity to have her own mobile game. Demi Lovato just came out with her own game, and Britney Spears is in talks with Glu Mobile to have her own as well. Due to the popularity of Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, which launched in 2013, it looks like everyone’s lining up to have their own mobile game.

In the meantime, Katy has been enjoying her time in the Caribbean. During her “Prismatic World Tour,” she performed in Puerto Rico and then made an important pit stop in Cuba. According to a recent report via Vistar Magazine, earlier this week, Katy visited the children’s theater group “La Colmenita” in Havana, where she danced and sang with the kids. She also visited Havana’s National Arts School.

It has not been confirmed that Perry performed in the country of Cuba — it was only noted by Billboard that it was her second visit to the island in the middle of her tour. Perry is UNICEF’s latest Goodwill Ambassador, which is why the singer wanted to get to know the country’s educational programs.

The first time the pop star visited the island was last week. She flew down to Havana to attend a party that included salsa singer Isaac Delgado and his band, along with the rumba troupe Los Munequitos de Matanzas. The news of Katy’s visits was originally reported by the country’s national newspaper Granma. Katy then left Havana to perform in Puerto Rico on Monday night, then returned back to the island on Tuesday morning.

As previously reported via the Daily Mail, the “Prismatic World Tour” has been going on for the past 17 months. It sounds like Perry could use some much-needed R&R after it wraps up at the end of this month. But instead of rest, Perry is putting every ounce of energy into each of her concert dates. During her Puerto Rico stop, she wore a prismatic leotard, which featured a cat on the bodice and an attached skirt.

She paired the look with lace-up thigh-high boots that were easy to dance in. Katy took to Twitter to claim that she was a little too enthusiastic during one of her performances.

She tweeted, “I stomped so hard tonight I think I made my own teeth move #theprismaticworldtourpuertorico #149.”

Katy even had to battle high altitude last Friday when she performed in South America as part of her world tour. She took her concert to new heights when she performed in an oxygen mask as she performed her show in Bogota, Colombia. Katy was not used to the high altitude, which is why she needed some additional air.

The singer took to Twitter to share a snapshot of herself wearing the mask with the tweet, “Singing and dancing at over 8,000 feet, no problem Bogota, Colombia.”

Katy Perry has been performing to sold-out venues and theaters all over Europe, North America, and Australia ever since she kicked off the hot-selling tour in May 2014. The last date in Perry’s “Prismatic World Tour” is on October 18, where she’ll perform in San Jose, Costa Rica. It will also officially mark the end of her fourth studio album, Prism.
