Miley Cyrus is at it again! The Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne revealed on Instagram that the band will team with Cyrus for a fully nude concert, reports Business Standard. Apparently, Miley Cyrus will require the audience to strip too.
In an Instagram post, Coyne shared a split photo of The Flaming Lips bandmates and Miley. Although the snap did not reveal nude celebrities, in line with Instagram's policies, the image did hint that Cyrus and the band, which reached its peak in the '90s and seems due for a comeback, will be nude for an upcoming live show.
Coyne also revealed that there's a "video (in the works) for #mileycyrusandherdeadpetz song The Milky Milky Milk" that will also feature a "COMPLETELY naked" Miley being covered "with milk (well white stuff that looks like milk)" that is "being spewed everywhere," according to Us Weekly. While Miley herself hasn't said anything about the new video or concert, Cyrus has confirmed she will be touring with The Flaming Lips to support her new album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz. In August, Miley shocked fans by revealing the secret album -- then told them they could listen for free.
Miley Cyrus And Her Dead Petz has gotten overall rave reviews for its originality, according to Rolling Stone, and has cemented Cyrus as a real artist, far from her Hannah Montana days.Miley has not mentioned a date for the nude concert.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer is also getting into the holiday spirit, and will star in Netflix's upcoming film A Very Murray Christmas alongside none other than Bill Murray and George Clooney.Netflix recently released a full-length trailer that features a red and white bedecked Cyrus in the arms of Bill Murray, and it seems Miley will also sing in the holiday movie.
Directed by Sofia Coppola, the Christmas-spirit film starring Miley Cyrus is an "homage to the classic variety show featuring Bill Murray playing himself." In the show, a suave-looking Murray hosts a television show and "worries no one will show up to his TV show due to a terrible snow storm in New York City," reports the Guardian.
There's no word about the actual character Miley Cyrus will portray, although she does get dolled up in a red Christmas dress with fuzzy white trim. And don't forget the white "fur" trimmed pumps.
In addition to Miley Cyrus, the shockingly star-studded cast includes Chris Rock, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Jason Schwartzman, Rashida Jones, and Paul Shaffer.
According to the Guardian, French band Phoenix also is billed to make an appearance, possibly as an accompaniment as Miley Cyrus sings. Sophia Coppola is married to the Thomas Mars, who heads the band as its lead singer. The Guardian also reports that an album will be released to promote the film, which will feature Christmas classics.
The cheer of the holiday film is in sharp contrast to recent rumors about Miley Cyrus that said she allegedly went on a "drug binge" while hosting the Saturday Night Live season premiere on October 3. Celebrity magazine Gossip Cop reports that "nothing could be further from the truth," and Miley was not "out of control" while working with the SNL cast.
A rumor was started that Cyrus "chain-smoked weed all throughout rehearsals, readings... everything," reports Gossip Cop, and SNL creator Lorne Michaels tried to stage an intervention because Miley was acting "outlandish."
According to Gossip Cop, who spoke to a source at the show, Lorne was not "worried Miley is going to be dead in the next couple of years if she doesn't change her wild ways," and the account is "so untrue." Miley Cyrus apparently was great to the SNL staff.[Image credit: Theo Wargo/NBC/Getty Images]
