Scott Disick Rushes To Lamar Odom’s Bedside: Could This Be A Wake-Up Call?
Scott Disick may be busy partying it up with younger models and doing appearances around the country, but Disick knows that family is important. As fans saw on the preview for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Scott is willing to admit to his mistakes in hopes of getting his family back. And while Scott may be fighting to get his family back on the show, it is possible that he is starting to understand the consequences of his actions.
This week, Scott Disick learned that Lamar Odom had overdosed in a Las Vegas brothel. Lamar is currently fighting for his life in a Las Vegas hospital and the entire Kardashian family is by his side. Disick, who is rumored to be partying and doing drugs, may see this overdose as a wake-up call. He has supposedly dropped everything to be by his friend’s side.
According to a new Hollywood Life report, Scott Disick has dropped all business obligations and is now headed to Las Vegas to be by Lamar’s side. Disick was spotted grocery shopping in Los Angeles prior to learning about the news. After he got the details, he immediately packed his bag and headed out to Las Vegas to meet up with Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Rob, who were all at the hospital.
Kourtney Kardashian did not fly to Las Vegas, as she stayed home with the children. It is possible that she is doing everything she can from Los Angeles to support her sisters. But the last thing Khloe needs is children running around the hospital.
Lamar is currently fighting for his life in the Las Vegas hospital. He was found unconscious with clear liquid coming out of his nose and mouth. Reports say that he is currently in a coma because he can’t breathe on his own. There are also reports of heart failure and possible brain damage. Sources have said that it doesn’t look good for the former Lakers player, who has had a rough time after being traded by the Lakers a few years back. This is what started the downward spiral that eventually led to his divorce from Khloe.
Of course, Scott Disick knows Lamar personally, as the two were close when Odom was married to Khloe. Scott has been with Kourtney for a long time, so he has witnessed Lamar meeting Khloe, them getting married, and them getting a divorce. So it makes sense that he would rush to be by his side. But this could also be a wake-up call for Disick.
Scott has been on a downward spiral himself. He has distanced himself from Kourtney, he has been spotted with much younger models, and he is currently partying and drinking quite a bit. According to the Daily Mail, Disick is rumored to be mixing a cocktail of prescription medication with drugs and alcohol. Scott supposedly takes cocaine, Xanax, and Ativan while drinking excessively.
If this is indeed true, it makes sense that Kourtney has kicked him out of their shared home. They have three children, Reign who is not yet a year old. Kourtney doesn’t want an intoxicated father around the kids, so they start questioning what he is doing. Keeping him out of the home may be the better choice for sure. But one can hope that this visit to Lamar Odom’s bedside and seeing what an overdose can do will be a wake-up call for Scott. It is no secret that he battles with his own demons.
