‘Real Housewives’ Star Lizzie Rovsek’s Take On This Season: ‘A Lot Of Stuff Doesn’t Add Up’

Lizzie Rovsek has been a friend of the housewives this season on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Even though she had the friend status rather than the wife status, she was still very much involved with everything that was happening on The Real Housewives. Rovsek knew about Shannon Beador’s marital troubles, and she was hearing about Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis as Meghan Edmonds was digging deeper into Brooks’ story.

And because Lizzie Rovsek’s role was minimal on this season of The Real Housewives, she didn’t feel right writing a blog about the dramatic season finale. But when she woke up and learned that Edmonds was “fact checking” on Twitter and being aggressive in regards to Vicki Gunvalson’s behavior during the Real Housewives finale, Rovsek decided to share her thoughts on everything that has gone down this season — including the fact that she knew everything about David Beador’s affair!

According to a new Bravo report, Lizzie Rovsek is now revealing that she has been a great friend to Shannon because she knew about the affair before they even started filming The Real Housewives. Apparently, Shannon had confided in her, even though she was just a friend of the wives.

“First off, I was a ‘friend’ this season. I understand why now, because I’m actually a great friend. Shannon hasn’t acknowledged the fact that she confided in me about the affair and says that only Vicki, Heather, and Tamra knew. That’s not true, and perhaps she said that because she was only referring to the main Housewives. That’s fine, I understand,” Rovsek reveals.

Of course, Shannon claims that she told no one about the affair. But as it turns out, Beador actually confided in Lizzie Rovsek prior to the show starting. As Lizzie points out, it is very possible that she didn’t think about mentioning Rovsek because she wasn’t on the show in a full-time role. But as a friend, Lizzie feels that she has been a good friend.

“For the record, I never heard a ‘rumor’ about it and if I did I wouldn’t believe it. I don’t believe in rumors. Hearing Vicki tell Shannon that she was there for her when no ones else was, was very hurtful to me. I was there. I have been a great friend to Shannon and anything that she confides in me I don’t breathe a word about. I defended Shannon all season. I think it’s great that she has a new found friendship with Heather and Tamra, but I was there all along. I still am,” she reveals.

Lizzie has also been witness to the main storyline: whether Brooks has cancer or not. Many of the Real Housewives ladies got caught up in whether or not he has cancer, and he has tried to defend himself. Rovsek admits that the stories shared on The Real Housewives do not make sense. Some things just don’t match up.

“If Brooks is lying about something as serious as cancer he will have to suffer because of it. We all sin and we all suffer for our sins, no matter the magnitude. Do I think he is lying about cancer? I will be honest, a lot of stuff doesn’t add up. If he is lying, more than anything, I feel sorry for him. I also feel sorry for Vicki if she has been caught up in a mess of this caliber. I really can’t imagine someone doing that and I don’t know why someone would do that. It’s very sad,” Rovsek points out, adding that she is still very much friends with Vicki and Shannon, and hopes that they work out their issues.

What do you think of this season of The Real Housewives? Are you shocked that Lizzie knew so much?
