Louis Tomlinson Brands ‘X-Factor’s’ Mason Noise ‘Stupid’ And ‘Pathetic’

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has stepped into this week’s X-Factor fiasco with an attack on rapper Mason Noise. Tomlinson and his bandmates, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Niall Horan, together with former member Zayn Malik, broke into the big time after appearing on the show, so it is no surprise to find that Tomlinson is a fan. Earlier today, Louis and bandmate Liam Payne gave an interview in which they discussed a range of topics. When Tomlinson and Payne were asked about their views on last weekend’s X-Factor, neither star pulled any punches.

For those unaware of what happened, X-Factor hopeful Mason Noise was kicked off the show as a result of a fight with Simon Cowell. As reported by the Inquisitr, Noise tried to hijack a portion of the show to complain that he had been given a shorter audition slot than some of the other contestants.

It seems that neither Louis nor Liam were impressed by Noise’s antics, but Liam was the first to speak up on the issue. He explained that you have to earn the right to say what you want to people like Simon Cowell. Then Tomlinson chipped in with an even more brutal assessment of the situation. Louis and Liam spoke about the situation during an interview with ITV’s Good Morning Britain.

Liam said, “There is a certain point [in your career] where you can say things. If you are Kanye West you can say whatever the hell you want, that just happens. If you are still making your way and trying to climb the ladder you have to realise the point you are at in your life and where you could get to. Dreaming is good but you don’t just jump in and say ‘I’m the best’.”

At that point, Tomlinson cuts in with an even more critical assessment, branding Noise’s argument “pathetic.” Louis also says that Noise he was “stupid” to blow his big chance.

“I think his argument was pretty pathetic. What is stupid about that is that he has ruined the opportunity for himself. he would have definitely had a chair and then he could have impressed.”

It is fair to say that Tomlinson was not amused. Louis may have a larger interest in what happens on X-Factor because it is strongly rumored that Tomlinson may be set to act as a mentor to some of the acts during the judges houses stage of the show. Louis could well have been mentoring Noise.

The Daily Mail reports that Tomlinson also spoke about the end of One Direction’s tour and the band’s forthcoming hiatus. Louis admits that the conclusion of the tour will be “emotional” but that he and the rest of the band are looking forward to a long break. Louis says that One Direction may well go away on a lad’s holiday together and anticipates that he will still see his pals during the break.

Tomlinson also stated that he will find next year a little “bizarre” because the boys are so used to touring that it will be strange not doing so. Louis even joked that he may have to take up pottery to fill the time.

Finally, Louis made a statement that will be of huge concern to One Direction fans. Tomlinson admits that there are no firm plans in place for the band to reform.

“We don’t really want to put a time on it because then that puts pressure on us and we’re just going to enjoy this time to do what we want to do.”
