Days of Our Lives fans are still reeling from the death of one of the soap’s most beloved characters, Will Horton. Now Will’s family, especially his parents Lucas Horton and Sami Brady-DiMera, will be forced to deal with their son’s death, but Sami will want more than just to mourn, she’ll want revenge on her son’s killer.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Days of Our Lives fans are going to see Sami Brady go off the deep end after learning about her son’s death. Sami will want justice and revenge for Will so badly that she’ll make a very bad decision. Sami will sneak in to Chad DiMera’s hospital room and attempt to kill him by smothering him with a pillow.
Hopefully, Sami will not be successful, because Chad is the only person that knows the true identity of the necktie killer, who is Ben Weston. After Chad found out that Ben was the one who killed Serena Mason, Paige Larsen, and his close friend Will Horton, he confronted Ben at his apartment where Ben got lost in his rage and beat Chad until he was in a coma. If Chad wakes up he should be able to tell the police that Ben is the one who has been terrorizing the people of Salem. However, with a head injury that severe, it is possible that Chad may not remember that Ben is the killer.
Either way, Days of Our Lives viewers are in for some serious drama in the coming weeks. Not only will Will’s funeral bring back Sonny for a very emotional final goodbye, but Sami will have to deal with another major bombshell while grieving her late son.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, a letter allegedly written by Sami’s late husband, EJ DiMera, will surface, and have clues inside that will lead Sami to believe that her beloved husband is still alive. Sami will vow to find EJ no matter what it takes, and fans are already getting excited for the possibility of a reunion between the couple and/or the return of actor James Scott as EJ DiMera.
EJ died last October at the hands of one of Clyde Weston’s thugs after being shot in the park. After his death, his body was taken to the morgue, where after Sami said a very tearful goodbye, EJ’s sister, Kristen DiMera, entered and injected her brother’s body with a mysterious substance. DiMera’s body was then taken to another country by his grieving father, Stefano DiMera. Nothing else was ever said about the odd circumstances, and Sami packed up her children and moved to California, leaving Will behind in Salem to raise his daughter, Ariana, and live with his husband, Sonny Kiriakis.
Besides Sami Brady and Sonny Kiriakis returning to Salem, Days of Our Lives is about to get back some more great characters. Steve “Patch” Johnson has already returned, and Bo Brady is close to making his way home for an amazing reunion with his family. In addition, Bo’s son, Shawn Douglas Brady, along with his wife, Belle Black, and daughter, Claire, will also be back home in the very near future, and Shawn’s former best friend, Philip Kiriakis, is set to return around Christmas time.
Meanwhile, other characters are rumored to be leaving DOOL in the coming weeks. Clyde Weston, Ben Weston, Daniel Jonas, and Aiden Jennings are all said to be leaving Salem, some possibly in body bags, as the NBC series continues to draw in more viewers and heat up their storylines leading up to their big 50th anniversary celebration in November. Fans won’t want to miss a moment of the action.
