Caroline Fleming has revealed that she is no longer dating the 30-year-old that was discussed on Monday night’s episode of Ladies of London. On her BravoTV blog, Caroline, who besides now being a British reality TV star is also a host of Denmark’s Next Top Model and Danish royalty, said that she is now only very good friends with the man.
Asked to tell viewers more about her boyfriend, Caroline wrote that she and the 30-year-old viewers heard about on the show are now “very good friends.” Caroline explained that the relationship became only a friendship after a couple of months of dating.
“I am very good friends with the man I was dating around Christmas of last year and after a few lovely months together it took it’s natural steps organically transitioning to a gorgeous friendship.”
Caroline also explained why she was disliked co-star Marissa Hermer repeatedly calling her a cougar at Juliet Angus’ bowling party.
“I was put off by Marissa’s comments because they are unattractive, unnecessary, and unkind. I don’t believe in making judgements, and I believe in kindness and goodness and allowing your inside to reflect your outside. I am both surprised and also slightly put off by what Marissa says and also how she just keeps going on and on about it – very ungraceful and far away from what I believe in. I believe in goodness and kindness all around, I believe in generosity of spirit. Unkind comments often come from unhappy place and I wish everyone well…”
On Caroline’s Instagram page, she posted a photo of the bowling outing at the time of filming.
A look at the photos that she posted around Christmas time last year doesn’t seem to show her with the 30-year-old that she was dating at the time. She did, however, post around that time a photo of a very large flower bouquet that she received from someone, as well as photo of a romantic dinner set for two.
Monday night’s episode showed the cast going bowling. Each woman wore a bowling shirt with a funny nickname printed on it. Caroline got the shirt that said “Cougar.” When Caroline got up to bowl, Marissa, while drinking her beer and laughing hysterically, poked fun of her for dating a much younger man.
“Lock up your children. She’s coming to bat…Look at the cougar!”
Caroline didn’t say anything, but looked very cross. At one moment, Marissa told Caroline to be careful about throwing the bowling ball her way, but Caroline promised that she wasn’t going to hurt her. In an interview later, Caroline said that she thought that what Marissa said was highly inappropriate because dating a 30-year-old man has nothing to do with going after little boys, which is disgusting.
When the women got up to take photos with their wigs on and the women talked about looking like little boys, Marrisa piped up that Caroline “likes little boys.” Caroline glared at Marrisa.
Caroline Fleming later commented in her interview that she doesn’t like “s**t-stirrers.” She pointed out that both she and Marissa Hermer have small children.
Co-star Caroline Stanbury, who has known Caroline F. for many years, commented that Caroline F. is not to be crossed with and that her silence is deadly.
Watching the episode, Marissa admitted that her behavior was embarrassing. She jokingly tweeted that she needed to have her mouth clamped shut.
*oh god* where are those nipple clamps when I need them!?
Marrisa wrote on her BravoTV blog that she got carried away with her jokes and that she apologized to Caroline on the way home. Marissa added that she doesn’t think that age matters in relationships.
“I got carried away with heckling Caroline Fleming at bowling and took her t-shirt nickname joke too far. I immediately called Caroline on my way home from bowling and apologized. What I said was inappropriate and I’m very sorry that I offended Caroline – especially because I don’t actually think age matters in a relationship.”
Marissa Hermer also revealed that Ladies of London viewers will see more coming out of the cougar drama. She tweeted that next week’s episode will show her apologizing to Caroline Fleming.
