‘RHOC’ Star Vicki Gunvalson & Brooks Ayers Are Done For Good? Plus, Heather Dubrow Confirms Cancer Lie

RHOC star Vicki Gunvalson confirmed on last night’s new episode of Andy Cohen’s late night show, Watch What Happens Live, that she and Brooks Ayers were done for good. Citing her daughter’s dislike of Ayers, as well as other issues, the RHOC star shot down rumors of a possible reconciliation with her former boyfriend of four years.

According to a report by E! News on October 13, the RHOC star spoke kindly of Ayers despite their split and revealed she was still convinced of his stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis.

Ahead of the RHOC star’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Gunvalson’s co-star Heather Dubrow was seen confirming Ayers had lied about calling her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, with questions about chemotherapy treatments. While Ayers alleged he had called Dr. Dubrow in hopes of educating himself on the treatment and reactions to chemo, Heather said the call never happened. She called on her husband to relay the same information.

Throughout the year, there has been tons of speculation into Ayers’ cancer, so Heather’s comment certainly didn’t do him any favors when it came to convincing his co-stars of his diagnosis. However, in the grand scheme of things, it was a minor issue. Even after the RHOC star’s then-boyfriend showed a copy his medical records to Tamra Barney, no one was convinced he was truly suffering from cancer, and Meghan King Edmonds even accused him of forging his cancer documents.

In response to Edmonds’ on-air comments, Ayers sent a cease and desist letter to the RHOC star, which Edmonds has completely ignored. In his letter, Ayers’ attorney demanded Edmonds stop accusing Ayers of faking his cancer and issue an apology for her previous comments, but Edmonds has stood by her allegations and remains determined to prove herself right about RHOC star Ayers.

After receiving news of Ayers’ potential lawsuit against her, which his attorney claimed he would file if the RHOC star didn’t stop her chatter and apologize, Edmonds spoke to People Magazine and released the following statement about Ayers’ letter.

“I am waiting patiently on my official documents that I’m being sued. I already got one letter threatening to sue if I don’t comply with his requests, including one to issue a formal public apology. I didn’t respond on purpose, because he’s full of crap and doesn’t have a case. So now I’m waiting to be sued. He won’t. He knows he’s a liar and he’s pissed off at me and made a feeble attempt to intimidate me into not talking. When really, it’s so ridiculous I simply laughed it off. He doesn’t have the balls to sue me.”

According to an October 13 report by Entertainment Tonight, the RHOC star addressed the speculation into Ayers’ cancer diagnosis, telling Cohen, “I think the whole thing is pretty disgusting. I don’t understand it at all, I just think it’s really odd and awkward.”

On Twitter, Ayers recently told fans he would no longer be addressing comments made about or against him via Twitter after being advised to silence himself about the issue by his lawyer. In response to his claim, Edmonds told her fans there was no pending litigation between them.
