Orange County Housewife Vicki Gunvalson Updates Twitter: ‘I Don’t Have Any Mental Issues’

Orange County reality star Vicki Gunvalson went through a lot while filming the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. In addition to the heart-wrenching news of her mother’s unexpected passing, the Orange County businesswoman was faced with drama regarding her then-boyfriend Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis.

On Twitter on October 10, the Orange County star addressed what she believed to be an allegation against her from a fan. In response to a tweet, which read, “she must have mental issues,” Gunvalson wrote, “No I don’t have any ‘mental issues.” However, the tweet in question was actually aimed at Gunvalson’s Real Housewives of Orange County co-star, Meghan King Edmonds, the newest member of the Bravo reality show.

Since Edmonds has been so keen on proving Ayers’ stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis is actually fake, she’s been targeted by many fans, like the one Gunvalson responded to, who feel she’s taken things too far on the current season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, which concludes tonight with the finale episode. In fact, the new Orange County reality star has taken things so far that she’s been served with a letter to cease and desist. The notice from Ayer’s attorney demanded she stop all commentary on Ayers’ name and concerning his cancer diagnosis

After accusing Orange County’s Ayers of faking his cancer and “forging” medical records, Edmonds received the letter, but she failed to respond by the attorney-given deadline.

“I am waiting patiently on my official documents that I’m being sued. I already got one letter threatening to sue if I don’t comply with his requests, including one to issue a formal public apology,” Edmonds explained to PEOPLE Magazine earlier this month.

In the letter, Edmonds was required to issue a response by a certain day, but that day has come and went, and Edmonds has yet to do a thing.

“I didn’t respond on purpose, because he’s full of crap and doesn’t have a case. So now I’m waiting to be sued. He won’t. He knows he’s a liar and he’s pissed off at me and made a feeble attempt to intimidate me into not talking. When really, it’s so ridiculous I simply laughed it off. He doesn’t have the balls to sue me.”

Although Orange County reality star Gunvalson and her former boyfriend, Ayers, announced they were calling it quits on their relationship back in August, the couple has remained supportive of one another in the months that have followed their breakup. Immediately after their split, many claimed the Orange County relationship had ended due to Gunvalson being convinced that Ayers had, in fact, lied about his diagnosis, but judging by her support, that wasn’t the case.

In their joint statement regarding their split, the Orange County couple revealed they had attempted to reconcile their relationship by attending couples counseling, but ultimately decided that going their separate ways after four years of on again, off again dating was best. Still, rumors continue to swirl, claiming the Real Housewives of Orange County pair could soon get back together. Even though Gunvalson has shot down the possibility, their past habits of getting back together seem to have more pull.

For more Vicki Gunvalson, tune into the season 10 finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County tonight, October 12, at 9 p.m. on Bravo and stay tuned for more of the Orange County reality star at 11 p.m., when she makes an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
