Jon & Kate Plus 8 investigated for breaching child labor laws

The Pennsylvania Department of Labor has started an investigation into the hit TLC reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8 for potentially breaching child labor laws.

The details of the investigation weren’t immediately clear, although a spokesman for the Department claimed a complaint about the show had been filed.

Despite exploiting the 8 children, TLC naturally claims it does nothing wrong. “TLC fully complies with all applicable laws and regulations. ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8? is no exception” the network said in a statement. “For an extended period of time, we have been engaged in cooperative discussions and supplied all requested information to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor. We will continue to engage the appropriate officials and meet any standards or regulations that are applicable to TLC productions.”

Jon & Kate Plus 8 has had record ratings this year following pre-season publicity (most likely fake) covering Jon’s wandering penis.
