Justin Timberlake Brings Marine Kelsey De Santis On Second Date
Corporal Kelsey De Santis landed a date with Justin Timberlake last year after she posted a video on Youtube. The pop star was so flattered by the invitation that not only did he attend the Marine Corps Ball, he returned the favor and invited De Santis to the Guys Choice Awards.
Timberlake walked down the red carpet with De Santis at the Guys Choice Awards over the weekend where he was given the Entertainer of the Year award.
Timberlake said:
“It’s amazing actually to be standing on stage with these American heroes. As some of you know I’m usually a wise ass, but in all seriousness, I can tell you receiving this award from our troops is seriously one of the greatest honors that I or any American could receive.”
Timberlake also thanked De Santis in his speech, telling the marine once again how much their date last November meant to him.
“Thank you for inviting me… even for one night… to something so meaningful. While you were enlisting, I was a put in a boy band. You remember that, I’m trying to forget it.”
After the show, De Santis said:
“He’s a genuine person. There’s no doubt in my mind (he deserves this award).”
