Lisa Vanderpump was busy filming with Bravo all summer long. In addition to her gig on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which remains in production on its sixth season, Lisa Vanderpump and her staff at SUR Lounge in West Hollywood, California, filmed the fourth season of Vanderpump Rules.

Throughout the series, Lisa Vanderpump’s staff has remained somewhat the same, with Jax Taylor, Scheana Marie Shay, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, and Katie Maloney all maintaining their jobs for the last three seasons. However, one person’s role on the show appears to be ever-changing: Stassi Schroeder. While Schroeder was an employee of SUR Lounge when the series began in January 2013, she promptly quit her job after season 2, when she discovered her former boyfriend, Taylor, had engaged in an affair with Kristen Doute, one of her closest friends at that time.
After deciding she no longer wanted to be a part of Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant, Schroeder moved to New York City, where she moved in with her boyfriend Patrick Meagher. Meanwhile, back in Los Angeles, Lisa Vanderpump was left in shock over not receiving an official notice of Schroeder’s exit. At the time, it was believed that Schroeder had not only moved on from the restaurant, but also from the show. Then, ahead of season 3, Schroeder returned to the West Coast and began filming for the third season of Lisa Vanderpump’s show.
During season 3, Schroeder was seen sitting down with her former boss, Lisa Vanderpump, to discuss their issues with one another, but unfortunately, nothing was resolved, as Schroeder failed to understand what she had done wrong. During their conversation, Schroeder was encouraged to mend her friendship with Katie Maloney, but she refused to do so, feeling she was betrayed, which Lisa Vanderpump disagreed with.

Now that Schroeder has once again returned to the show, despite not being a full-time cast member of Lisa Vanderpump’s series, fans have once again witnessed an awkward meeting between the two women. In the recently released trailer for season 4, Schroeder confronts Lisa Vanderpump, claiming her former boss hates her. However, Lisa Vanderpump quickly shuts her down, telling Schroeder, “You aren’t important enough to hate.”
According to a report by Entertainment Tonight on October 8, Lisa Vanderpump’s sit-down with her former employee was one of “the roughest days” Schroeder experienced during filming.
“I think she was really, really hard on me. I’ve been doing my best to kind of just rectify the specific wrong things that I felt I had done, but I’m not willing to grovel by any means.”
While Schroeder was open to meeting with Lisa Vanderpump for a second time, despite their prior differences, their meeting didn’t go well, and according to Schroeder, “The relationship is never going to be the same.”
Before Lisa Vanderpump and her co-stars began filming Vanderpump Rules season 4, Schroeder announced on her Podcast series, Straight Up With Stassi, that she would no longer be featured on the show, but now that her return has been confirmed, she’s claimed fans will understand why she came back once the series debuts.
For more of Lisa Vanderpump, Stassi Schroeder, and the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast, tune into the season 4 premiere on Monday, November 2, at 9 p.m. on Bravo. No word yet on a premiere date for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 6.
