Joe Giudice Wants ‘Bedroom’ Time With Teresa Once She’s Released From Prison, What Is Daughter Gia Saying?

Joe Giudice’s wife, Teresa, entered the Federal Correctional Facility in Danbury, Connecticut, on January 5, and has been serving her prison term for crimes of bank and wire fraud ever since. Prior to her admittance into the institution, Teresa and Joe Giudice had pled guilty to several crimes, and in October of last year, Teresa was dealt a 15-month prison term, while her husband, Joe Giudice, received 41 months behind bars, as well as a possible deportation.

While Teresa still has nearly three months left of her sentence (she will not be forced to serve the full 15 months), Joe Giudice and his daughters are looking forward to their mother’s release date of December 23, but for very different reasons.

“We’ll be spending a lot of time in the bedroom for awhile, that’s for sure… Every night until I go in,” Joe Giudice announced to E! News on October 8 of his post-prison plans for wife Teresa.

“You’re emailing, you’re talking here and there, but it’s not like she’s here,” Joe Giudice continued, adding that he misses his wife “every day, every minute. I always wish she was here.”

“I’m glad I was able to keep the girls together, and do what we have to do to get by until she [Teresa] gets home… The last two years have been rough, but I’m glad it’s behind us. Start a new life. Start all over again and put everything behind you and just hope it all stays nice.”

As Joe Giudice looks forward to his alone time with his wife, his daughter Gia, as well as her sisters, are looking forward to celebrating Christmas as New Year’s as a family. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight on October 8, Gia spoke of her family’s holiday plans.

“We have to, like, decorate [the tree] perfect. She’s usually here. She finishes it. We all, like, do something and then, like, we’re, like, ‘Mom we’re tired, we’re going to bed.’ She’ll want the house set up. If she comes home and the tree’s not up, like, the first thing she’ll say is, ‘Where’s the tree?'”

In the months since Teresa began serving her prison time, Joe Giudice and his four daughters have been filming a documentary, which will air as a spinoff of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, starting this Sunday night on Bravo. The series, The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In, will give fans an inside look at how Joe Giudice has been managing his family with Teresa behind bars. The special will also show details from prison phone calls from Teresa.

Once Teresa returns home from prison, she will enjoy some time with husband Joe Giudice and their daughters as a family. But then, a short while later, Joe Giudice will be forced to turn himself in and begin serving his 41-month prison term at a yet-to-be-named facility. At that point, Teresa is expected to return to reality television in The Real Housewives of New Jersey, with co-stars including Melissa Gorga and Jacqueline Laurita (an official cast announcement for the series’ upcoming seventh season has not yet been made, and rumors continue to swirl regarding who could possibly join, and who will return from Season 6).

For more of Joe Giudice and his family, tune into The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In on Sunday, October 11, at 8 p.m. The series will be air on Bravo in three parts.
