Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck Seeking $45M For Mansion, Bud Matt Damon Disses Jen
It seems the divorce between Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck is on. At least, the couple’s quiet decision to put their Los Angeles mansion on the market hints the two are actually splitting up.
Garner and Affleck have already enlisted the help of a top real estate broker to offer the mansion for sale, Variety reported. Located in the Pacific Palisades, they purchased — then renovated — the compound from producer Brian Grazer for $17 million and want to sell it for a cool $45 million.
Also home to legendary actor Gregory Peck in the late 1940s and early 1950s, the couple purchased the home in 2009. Architectural Digest provided some of the details of the luxurious home. The mansion is built in a sprawling ranch style on three acres overlooking Sullivan Canyon. Designed by architect Cliff May, the house boasted five bathrooms and eight bathrooms before renovations. Another building on the property has an office, art studio, two more baths, and a subterranean guest house.
According to Star Pulse, the Affleck/Garner residence also has a paparazzi-proof driveway, private terrace, soccer pitch-sized lawn, half-court basketball court, entertainment lounge, and cabana.

Once the complex sells, the actor will still have his riverfront estate in Savannah, Georgia, which he bought for $7 million before his marriage.
And it appears someone is already interested in the property. Rumor has it new News Corp. co-chairman and executive chairman at 21st Century Fox, Lachlan Murdoch, took a look but didn’t make an offer.
Star Pulse interprets the sale as proof that any rumors of an Affleck/Garner reconciliation are false, and the divorce between the power couple is really happening. Last week, a rumor circulated that Jennifer was pregnant, and they were still living together.
Such rumors seem to plague the Hollywood power couple, with friends ratting out secrets to the press about the dissolution of their 10-year marriage and his alleged infidelity with their kids’ nanny, Christine Ouzounian.
Now, long-time best bud, Matt Damon, has been roped into the mix, according to Design and Trend, which rounded up the latest gossip. The latest is that Matt doesn’t like Jennifer and hasn’t for some time, according to an OK! Magazine insider.
“Matt believes Ben’s marriage was in shambles way before the nanny. There was too much anger there. (He) wasn’t pushing for (him) to end it, but he knows (he) will be happier with another woman.”
Evidently, that other woman isn’t the nanny. Upon being dumped by Affleck, Ouzounian ranted to her friends that Ben had made promises to her, according to an insider.
“(He) didn’t have an answer, but he knew better than to engage her any further,” this source said. “Christine is very upset and says Ben should be worried. In her mind, this is far from over.”
Then there’s that other Jennifer — Lopez, that is.
The National Inquirer fabricated gossip about Ben and Lopez, claiming that the former flames were seen necking and sharing a “lusty romp in a hot tub.” The rumors also alleged their supposed dalliance was caught on home video.
The rumor was debunked by Gossip Cop, who pointed out the tabloid used old photos and video dating back to when Ben and Jen were an item and had every right to “embrace passionately.” They also checked with sources close to both celebs, and they debunked the claims.
Despite news that Garner and Affleck are selling their house, however, one source has said that the duo are still trying to work on their marriage. Jennifer wants to save it for the kids, but she doesn’t want more children, and her allegedly philandering husband has “really been a changed man of late.”
