Kyle Richards Could Be Fired From ‘RHOBH’: ‘Season Is Not Favorable To Kyle’
Kyle Richards has filmed The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since the very beginning, and she has often been stuck in the middle. First, Kyle was in the middle between Kim Richards and her husband Mauricio, as things were said during the first season that put Kyle in a bad spot. Then, Richards was a friend to Lisa but got caught between Lisa and Brandi — because Brandi was supposedly more loyal to Lisa than Kyle.
And lately, Kyle Richards has been stuck trying to defend her sister Kim’s sobriety, even though she has questions herself. Kyle wants Kim to be sober, but at times, she keeps questioning whether that is truly the case. Now, Richards could be facing a life without The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
According to a new Radar Online report, Kyle Richards may be fired after this current season as she may run out of things to contribute to the show. Now that Kim is sober and Brandi is out of the picture, Richards may not have much to offer viewers.
“Kyle is now on the chopping block and she knows it!” a source has revealed, adding that Kyle herself hasn’t contributed much to a storyline other than being the sister of Kim Richards, the single mother with an alcohol problem.
Of course, Kim’s struggles provided more than enough entertainment for viewers last season and Kim has plenty of things to tell when the show starts again. After the show wrapped back in the spring, she was arrested for being drunk and lashing out at an officer at the Beverly Hills hotel, and she got caught shoplifting at Target and ultimately arrested. But Kyle Richards didn’t have anything to do with that and hasn’t really said much about it.
Over the years, Kyle has continued to question her sister about her sobriety. Clearly, these two sisters are struggling a bit because Kim wants Kyle to believe her, but Kyle’s nagging is causing her sister to drink. But now, Richards is doing quite well with her sobriety, and Kyle’s concerns can no longer be a major storyline. And since fans don’t really care to see her daily business dealings at the shop, Kyle Richards may be running out of a storyline.
“Kyle feels like she does not have a storyline worth watching. Although she hated being stuck in the middle of all the drama last season, it gave her a purpose,” the source reveals, adding, “Overall, the filming that is going on right now for the upcoming season is not favorable to Kyle. She thinks that the fans are getting sick of her and she knows that defending Kim only caused more problems, because she lost the respect of the other cast members.”
It will be interesting to see what this season will bring. Bravo hasn’t announced a premiere date yet, but it is clear that fans are excited to see what this season could turn out to be. Brandi Glanville has revealed that she is not interested in returning to the show, but she has filmed a few scenes here and there. As for Kim, Richards recently revealed that her sister is doing quite well despite her battle with alcoholism.
“She’s doing really well – she’s doing really well right now,” Kyle told People Thursday night at the Global Lyme Alliance inaugural gala in New York, where their Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Yolanda Foster was being honored with an award.
It sounds like things are going quite well in Beverly Hills, but fans will decide if the show is great once it airs on Bravo and the ratings are revealed.
