Vicki Gunvalson On Brooks Ayers’ Rumored Cancer Lies? ‘The Truth Will Always Set One Free’

Vicki Gunvalson has been caught in the midst of the ongoing speculation into her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis for the last several weeks on The Real Housewives of Orange County — and off. On Twitter, Vicki Gunvalson has continuously denied lying about cancer, and ahead of the Season 10 finale on Monday, she has taken to social media once again, where she’s told a fan she would never lie about anyone’s health.

After a fan tweeted to her, claiming she’s lying about Ayers’ stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Vicki Gunvalson wrote, “I have never lied about cancer or ones diagnosis nor would I ever. I fear God and the truth will always set one free.”

Vicki Gunvalson stood by her now-ex-boyfriend, Ayers, throughout the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County and has continued to do so in the months that followed their split. However, despite her support, rumors continue to swirl, which claim Ayers does not really have cancer. In fact, Meghan King Edmonds is so convinced Ayers is lying about his cancer that she’s chosen to ignore his threats of a lawsuit against her.

At the end of last month, Vicki Gunvalson’s ex-boyfriend’s attorney sent a letter of cease and desist to Edmonds, demanding she silence her accusations regarding his health — or be sued. But rather than follow the order and issue an apology by a pre-set deadline, Edmonds chose to ignore the letter completely and continue her allegations against Ayers.

“I am waiting patiently on my official documents that I’m being sued,” Edmonds told the magazine of Vicki Gunvalson’s boyfriend’s future lawsuit. “I already got one letter threatening to sue if I don’t comply with his requests, including one to issue a formal public apology.”

“I didn’t respond on purpose, because he’s full of crap and doesn’t have a case. So now I’m waiting to be sued. He won’t. He knows he’s a liar and he’s pissed off at me and made a feeble attempt to intimidate me into not talking. When really, it’s so ridiculous I simply laughed it off. He doesn’t have the balls to sue me.”

Vicki Gunvalson has not yet responded to news of Ayers’ lawsuit threats against Edmonds, but both Ayers and Edmonds continue to speak of their possible case on Twitter.

Following the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki Gunvalson released a statement online, announcing the end of her relationship with Ayers. Right away, many speculated that the end of their relationship was prompted by Ayers’ rumored lies about his diagnosis. However, at this point, that doesn’t appear to be the case. If it was, Gunvalson would likely not be supportive of her ex-boyfriend in any way, shape or form.

As for a possible 11th season return to the Bravo reality show, Vicki Gunvalson has yet to confirm her role. She has, however, spoke out a number of times against the return of Edmonds — she’s even suggested Gretchen Rossi return to the show in her place. As fans will recall, Rossi, along with Alexis Bellino, left the series after its eighth season.

For more Vicki Gunvalson, tune into the Season 10 finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County on Monday night, October 12, at 9 p.m. on Bravo. The finale episode will be followed by the series’ multi-part reunion (during which a pre-taped interview with Ayers will air) in the weeks that follow.
