Eminem Brightens Up The Day Of Young Amputee Teejay Stainer Who Wanted To Show Off His ‘Eminem Legs’

Eminem usually makes headlines because of something controversial, either a statement he made, or lyrics he may have written, but that’s not the case today.

Eminem is making headlines because of his kind act towards a young amputee by the name of Teejay Stainer. First of all, we need to know a little bit about Mr. Stainer. Teejay’s story began back at birth, when his parents reportedly were told that their little boy may never walk due to the fact that he was born without a calf bone in his right leg. According to the U.K.’s Daily Echo, Teejay had his lower right leg amputated at the age of 14-months, but that hasn’t slowed him down.

So how does superstar rapper, Eminem, fall into this picture? The young amputee claims that Eminem is his hero. The 10-year-old boy says that it was Eminem who made him feel “brave” enough to defy all the expectations given to him by medical professionals.

How did a youngster such as Teejay Stainer first begin listening to such a hardcore rapper known for his controversial lyrics? Reports state that Teejay’s parents, Georgina and Richard Stainer, began playing Eminem’s music for Teejay when he was 2-years-old to help him get to sleep.

Since then, little Teejay has used Eminem as his own support system. According to Us Weekly, the young amputee said that Eminem’s music is inspirational. He reportedly stated that a rapper is someone that comes from nothing and is still able to make something of himself. It is that hope that has kept this 10-year-old pushing forward, and his parents, who both happen to be big hip-hop fans, believe that Eminem is the perfect hero for their young son.

As with most young kids, Teejay wanted to keep his hero close to him, so what did he do? He had Eminem’s face put onto his prosthetic leg. He was so proud of his “Eminem legs” that he felt the need to let the rapper know that he appreciated his help in getting through the tough times.

It was then that Georgina and Richard decided to post a photo of their boy on Facebook, sitting with his prosthetic legs while holding a note which read as follows.

“My name is Teejay Stainer from Andover England. I wear a prosthetic leg. These are my Eminem legs I’ve had made. My wish is for Eminem to see them. Thank you.”

Both Mr. and Mrs. Stainer agreed to post the photo on Facebook for Teejay, though they warned their son that there was a very slim chance that the real slim shady would ever see the photo, but to their surprise, the photo quickly began to be shared all over social media.

Before they knew it, the photograph gained so much attention that it finally made it to Eminem himself. The rapper must have been touched by Teejay’s message, because he decided to send him a signed copy of his Recovery album with a very special message.

“To TeeJay – Saw ur pic & read ur message! Thanks 4 the support! –Shady”

Teejay couldn’t be more excited after he was given the package from Eminem, and he even thinks he knows why the rapper sent him that album specifically. Teejay told reporters that he believed Eminem sent him that “album in particular because of the recovery” that he has made as he has grown up.

Despite having had to amputate his leg at such a young age, Teejay leads a very normal life alongside his two siblings. He has worked hard to get where he is in life and having Eminem show his love and support could only make things better.
