Kylie Jenner’s Minions: Why Teens Are Dying To Look Like The ‘KUWTK’ Star

Kylie Jenner has her very own lookalikes that are lining up to look like the teen. The most recent one is Gabrielle Waters, who is your typical teen from Michigan, except for the fact that she wants to look like the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.

Gabrielle Waters, 19, revealed to the British tabloid The Mirror that she often gets mistaken for Kylie Jenner, 18. She wants to dedicate her life to looking like the reality star and beauty blogger because she considers the famous Jenner teen an inspiration.

“What I like about Kylie is that she is very beautiful and encourages girls to do what they love and be happy. I like how she’s independent, how she’s bought her home and has a whole bunch of clothing line she’s attached to. Kylie’s worked hard for the money and achieved so much at a young age – she’s my idol, she’s so inspirational.”

Just take a glance at Gabrielle’s Instagram page, and you will notice a slight resemblance between her and the real Kylie. Gabrielle and Kylie even look alike if you compare their makeup-free selfies. Some would say that their similar styles and makeup looks are uncanny, while others could easily tell the two apart. So, how did Gabrielle nail Kylie’s look? She doesn’t have access to Kylie’s expensive makeup and glam squad, which means that she puts on her makeup herself. She also doesn’t use YouTube makeup tutorials. In fact, she looked to Kylie as inspiration.

“I use bare minerals foundation, eyeshadow, fake eyelashes, some blush and whirl and one of Kylie’s signature Mac lip liners to get my lips a little bigger. I’ve not bought specialist make-up and obviously I don’t have a makeup artist coming to my house every day but I do my best.”

Winters admits that she didn’t always want to look like Kylie Jenner. But then when people started telling her that she looks like the reality star, she decided to do her style and makeup like the famous Jenner teen.

Looking like Kylie Jenner seems like the in thing these days, especially if you’re an Instagram model. There’s no doubt that Kylie is one of the most popular teens in the world right now, so it comes as no surprise when other teen girls want to look like her. Four other Instagram models who look like Kylie include Durrani Popal, Nyaiesh Amiri, Melissa Hayes, and Mua Nina.

Kylie has even been spotted hanging out with her own doppelgangers, including childhood best friend Stassie Baby (Anastasia Karanikolaou) and Honey Natalia. Some fans would even say that Pia Mia is sometimes a dead ringer for the famous Jenner teen.

There are also YouTube bloggers who are helping teens look like the famous reality star. There are plenty of tutorials on the popular video site that will help you create a signature pout that’s similar to Kylie Jenner’s, but with the use of lip liner instead of Juvederm lip injections.

Kylie Jenner mania started earlier this year when the teen started showing off her pout on social media. That caused the plastic surgery rumors to circulate, and her fans to recreate her signature makeup look. One fan started the Kylie Jenner challenge in April, which quickly took a dangerous turn. It involved fans snapping photos of themselves after attempting to “plump” their lips with glasses bottles or shot glasses. Some of Kylie’s fans showed off their bloody and bruised lips on sites like Instagram and Twitter, causing the #KylieJennerChallenge hashtag to take off.

Kylie herself also took to Twitter to address the disturbing new beauty trend. She said that she wished her fans would embrace their natural beauty instead of aspiring to look like her.

But that won’t stop some teen girls from attempting to recreate her sexy style and signature contour makeup.
