Caroline Stanbury On ‘Ladies Of London’ ‘Kale’ Branch: ‘I Was Confused A Little Bit’

Caroline Stanbury may be dealing with a company that isn’t making money and some backlash over a humping incident on New Year’s Eve, but she isn’t about to get caught up in the little details. Stanbury has been watching Ladies of London, and she is shocked to learn how Juliet Angus and Julie Montagu keep bringing up the past issues — even though the issues have been settled.

Of course, Caroline Stanbury is a strong woman and not many people would challenge her. As many of her Ladies Of London co-stars have pointed out, Caroline requires you to be firm with her, not suck up to her. So when Montagu brought her a present during a party, many of the ladies were shocked. It was a T-shirt with the word “kale” on it and was meant as a “kale branch,” an olive branch to settle the drama.

According to a new report, Caroline Stanbury is now revealing that she is shocked over how things have unfolded between Juliet Angus and Julie Montagu — over her. Of course, Caroline hasn’t actually said much about the exchange, but Stanbury is shocked at how aggressive the ladies think she is.

“I was exasperated, it was a flippant comment. I had simply had enough. New Year’s was at least a week before, and I was done with this topic. But Juliet being Juliet just wouldn’t let it go. I was going through the biggest crisis at work that I have ever had to go through, and I just didn’t have the head space to discuss these things anymore. I wanted her to stop calling me. She had already blown things up with Jules; it was just typical,” Caroline Stanbury reveals about the entire “wipe the floor with you” exchange.

“I was confused a little bit. Again because it has been such a giant topic for her, she has spent so long apologizing for it, and has come with a gift in the other hand. I’m just going to take it, say thank you, and move on. It’s easier to be friends than to fight again. I just want to let go of all the drama to be honest,” Caroline adds.

Even though Caroline and Julie may not be the best of friends, Stanbury can still be supportive of her friend. Julie has been working on her JUB healthy balls, which are meant to be eaten after a yoga session. On this week’s episode, Julie got investors to put money into her business. While she is thriving in her business, Caroline Stanbury is struggling to pay back investors.

“I was happy for Julie, she deserves it. Small brands only succeed when the owner is passionate. Julie truly deserves it. It was nice to be of any help at all and nice for her to say I mentored her. All I had done was give her a push, she has done everything on her own,” Stanbury reveals.

Even though Caroline isn’t exactly involved in the arguing, she told the ladies that she wants it all to stop. Stanbury doesn’t want to get involved, as Juliet keeps the arguments going.

“I made it very clear I wanted no confrontation and it’s between the two of them. They’re both annoyed at each other for dropping each other in it, and I’m not really listening to be honest. It’s between them,” Caroline Stanbury concludes.
