WWE News 2K Sports Releases Full Details On ‘WWE 2K16’ DLC Packs, WWE NXT Star Samoa Joe Included?

When each year’s edition of WWE 2K comes out, wrestling fans worldwide gather with anticipation for the new video game. Last year, WWE 2K15 provided a lot of WWE fans with entertainment, especially with the Showcase mode. The program between John Cena and CM Punk, as well as Triple H and Shawn Michaels, gave lots of WWE fans nostalgia and kept them coming back.

Every video game will have its downfalls, but WWE 2K15 had too many glitches. 2K Sports reacted to the negative reactions from last year and decided to fix it for this year. Not only do they have new graphics, game modes, and returning creative aspects, they have the largest roster in WWE video game history.

2K Sports developers have already confirmed 120 unique WWE superstars and legends for the game. Guys from Mikey Whipwreck to Kevin Nash and even Hideo Itami are in the game. WWE NXT’s involvement in the game will bring a lot of interest from WWE fans.

Those are exclusive for PS4 and Xbox One players. For PS3 and Xbox 360 players, they will get a copy of the game and a season pass.

WWE NXT Four Horsewomen

Unfortunately, the giant roster WWE 2K16 will have isn’t living up to the extreme potential. A few weeks ago, 2K16 developers announced that the Four Horsewomen (Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Bayley) won’t be in the game. Just to make sure WWE fans don’t wait for them to come out as a DLC pack, they sent out this statement to ensure that fact.

“When we travel to do scanning sessions we scan everyone that we can get into our scan booth. WWE Superstars and Divas are very busy so we take every opportunity to scan them regardless of whether or not we are using the scans for the upcoming game.”

They explained the process of putting WWE superstars and divas into the game. What made WWE fans so frustrated is the fact that they added Diego, Fernando, Samoa Joe, and others into the game, but not the Four Horsewomen. Along with the top men in the company, Charlotte, Lynch, Banks, and Bayley are just as popular to the WWE Universe. Not having them in the game isn’t fair, but that’s what WWE 2K16 was able to do in the time allotted.
