Leah Messer And Kailyn Lowry Accuse MTV Of Scripting ‘Teen Mom 2?’

Leah Messer accused MTV of scripting Teen Mom 2 Season 6 to make it look as if she was dealing with a drug problem throughout filming. Although Leah Messer was seen nearly passing out while holding a baby, and both of her ex-husbands accused her of having an addiction issue, the reality star and mother of three has insisted she does not, even going as far as to say there was no truth to the scene featuring her brother’s baby.

During the episode in question, Leah Messer was slurring her words and leaning forward as if she were about to fall asleep before someone quickly stepped in and yanked the baby from her. Still, Leah Messer claims there was no truth to the scene. She also claimed the meeting between Simms and Calvert was “set up” and “scripted.”

While chatting at a local restaurant, Leah Messer’s exes spoke of her issue, which Calvert claimed was a “prescription pill problem.” However, as OK! Magazine revealed on October 5, Leah Messer alleged she was in contact with Calvert the whole time, and nothing about the scene was truthful. Instead, she claimed, Calvert couldn’t stand Simms, and the event was a complete “set up.”

“In the scene you can tell Jeremy was looking over at a producer saying something about a prescription pill problem and they edit it to where it looks as if he is saying that to Corey,” Leah Messer explained.

Although Leah Messer claims Calvert and Simms don’t get along, they sure seemed to be getting along just fine in July, when they enjoyed a double date with Calvert’s girlfriend, Brooke Wehr, and Simms’ wife, Miranda, in Los Angeles.

Also included in the OK! Magazine report were claims made by Kailyn Lowry, which suggested the network chose to edit out her life accomplish, and instead focus on her ongoing drama with Jo Rivera.

“Yet another episode where none of my accomplishments are shown… Hard work in school, deans list, etc. I want to motivate other young moms to stay in or finish school. Not be asked to talk about Jo drama.”

In addition to her denials of certain events, Leah Messer slammed MTV for incorrectly labeling the times during an earlier episode of Teen Mom 2 Season 6. According to the episode, Leah Messer was seen arriving home very late on a school night, and feeding her daughters, Ali and Aleeah, 5, who had school the next morning, dinner at 11 p.m., and putting them to bed at midnight. In response to the scene, Leah Messer told fans it was not midnight when her girls went to sleep.

In regard to another episode of Teen Mom 2 Season 6, which featured Leah Messer’s daughters in the back of her car, fighting back against the numbers items overflowing onto them, Messer claimed it was her daughter, Adalynn, 2, who pulled the stuff down onto herself. She also claimed she had so much in her car because she had just gotten home from a trip.

Because of Leah Messer’s comments against MTV, rumors have swirled regarding the possibility of her being fired from the show. However, at this point, it is unclear whether or not any action was taken against her. It also remains unclear whether or not she’s been asked back for season seven.
