Blake Shelton Rocks Weight Loss & Flirts With Gwen Stefani As Miranda Lambert Purrs For Her New Baby [Photos]
Blake Shelton is feeling and looking great, despite his divorce from Miranda Lambert. Blake is ready to talk about topics ranging from his split to his weight loss, although the rumored romance with Shelton’s The Voice co-star Gwen Stefani isn’t up for discussion yet.
Chatting about Miranda, Blake described himself as being “in a good place,” reported E News.
Shelton, 39, was married to 31-year-old Lambert for four years. And although Blake admits that he was heartbroken at first, Shelton now feels upbeat.
“It’s amazing how quickly life can turn around for you. I’ve had some pretty cool things in recent times that’ve happened and I’m loving it.”
As for Blake’s weight loss, it’s not due to spending hours in the gym. Shelton confessed that he’d like to tell tales of workouts, but denies he’s been exercising.
However, a spokesperson for Blake previously told a different version of Shelton’s weight loss.
“[Blake has been accomplishing] the two things he hates to do — diet and exercise,” said Shelton’s spokesperson.
Terming his weight loss due to a “divorce diet,” Blake has been using his muscles with an old-fashion push mower. Shelton revealed that he was using the contraption after getting frustrated with the appearance of his lawn.
“I’m mowing a BIG yard with a push mower. I make a lot of money and I’m mowing a BIG yard with a push mower!!!” joked Blake.
Shelton admitted that he can afford to hire someone or buy a riding lawn mower. But he seems to have taken out some of his frustration with his relationship in push-mowing the lawn.
“One day, in the middle of crisis and chaos with my personal life, I walked out and I was just thinking, like, ‘What’s going on in my life? I mean, it’s just so cra- what the hell is going on with my yard?!'” asked Blake.
For Shelton, life has smoothed out since that crisis.
But is part of Blake’s upbeat attitude due to Gwen Stefani? Shelton is at the point of getting close to Gwen’s kids, reported Naughty Gossip.
“They are very, very close,” revealed a source. “They have met each other’s families and spending so much time together that we should expect an announcement very soon.”
Blake and 45-year-old Stefani have been enjoying flirty fun on The Voice.
“When you’re sweet, you’re sweet,” cooed Gwen to Blake during one episode of the popular reality TV competition.
Stefani also is going through the aftermath of a divorce to Gavin Rossdale, reported People.
Although the two spent 20 years as a couple and 12 years married, they have succeeded in an amicable custody agreement.
“Gwen and Gavin both agree that the boys should be able to spend as much time as they want with both of their parents,” said an insider.
They have three sons, ranging in age from 9-year-old Kingston to 7-year-old Zuma to the baby, Apollo, at 19 months.
As for Miranda Lambert, she’s got something to purr about.
The singer recently introduced the newest member of her family: an adorable kitten she couldn’t resist adopting, reported Billboard.
“When your friend @harps226 comes to visit and says ‘oh by the way I picked up a stray kitten on the highway in Arkansas and it’s in the garage’ And then she smile’s this innocent smile. Guess who has a kitten now,” Miranda wrote in introducing the kitten on social media.
Lambert already has seven dogs and is devoted to animal rescue through her MuttNation Foundation. Created in 2007, MuttNation Foundation has set a goal of combating cruelty to animals, ending homelessness among pets, and halting animal neglect.
