Lil Wayne ‘Pours Up’ While Christina Milian Peels Out

Fans that are dismayed that Lil Wayne and Christina Milian broke up may think after reading recent news that she is strutting her stuff — while Lil Wayne is not doing so well.

Gossip Extra says that Christina Milian spent her birthday in the Bahamas around September 28 — and she was looking happy. The Daily Mail reports on October 2 that Christina Milian was looking great while running errands, according the paparazzi.

Adding to the idea that Christina Milian is taking the Lil Wayne breakup in stride, at the premier of the new television show Grandfathered Christina Milian showed up in a t-shirt that said “I love you more than pizza,” according to Pop Sugar.

Christina Milian is likely elated because she is a primary actress in Grandfathered and plays Vanessa, the mother of John Stamos’ grandchild. Interestingly, Lil Wayne appeared in the first episode of Grandfathered — but not with Christina Milian.

Was Christina Milian’s pizza t-shirt sending a secret message to Lil Wayne? Christina Milian told Entertainment Tonight that there is no reason to read between the lines about things between her and Lil Wayne — and it appears that they will keep working together professionally.

About her song “Do It,” Christina Milian says the following about Lil Wayne.

“He’s just talented. He’s just awesome. The lyrics are all about me! I wanted it to be real. The song’s about he and I, so it was perfect.”

Sadly, it appears that things in Lil Wayne’s life are not as sunny as Christina Milian makes them out to be. On October 3, Lil Wayne released a single that references his murky relationship with codeine-laced drinks that he sometimes calls “sizzurp.”

UpRoxx writes about Lil Wayne’s “Pour Up” on October 4 and states the following.

“This one may only be for those who have been known to partake in syrup sipping activities, but oh buddy was Wayne kicking that s*** about that culture, and what it’s become in the last few years.”

Of course, it is clear that Lil Wayne has had a lot on his mind over 2015 and breaking up with Christina Milian is only a small part of his troubles. Not only was Lil Wayne shot at earlier in the year, but he is also still heavily involved in Birdman and Cash Money legal drama.

TMZ reports on October 4 that in his legal battle with Birdman, Lil Wayne was blocked from taking on new talent for his own label. About the situation, TMZ says, “Weezy claims in legal docs he tried to ink a deal with Chanel West Coast on his Young Money Label… but negotiations went south when Cash Money refused to give the official sign off.”

On the other hand, things may be looking up for Lil Wayne. After being assaulted in April in Atlanta, Lil Wayne might be getting justice.

WSBTV reports the following on September 28 about the charges Jimmy Winfrey racked up for allegedly shooting Lil Wayne’s tour bus.

“Winfrey appeared in court Monday on 27 felony counts including racketeering, assault and gang charges, including one charge that includes domestic terrorism, which stipulates his act could injure or kill more than 10 people and intimidate the civilian population.”

Lil Wayne will have to wait until 2016 to learn the outcome of the trial for Jimmy Winfrey — but in the meantime he is getting props from the legendary Tony Hawk.

According to a Pitchfork report from September 23, Lil Wayne stars with skateboarding pro Tony Hawk and comedian Conan O’Brien in a video skit for Team Coco called “Clueless Gamer.”

In it, the three play Tony Hawk’s skateboarding video game released on September 29 called Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. During the video, it is revealed that Lil Wayne is a character that video game players can choose.

Nevertheless, when asked by Conan O’Brien if this means he is a real skateboarder, Lil Wayne humbly clarifies that he skates as a hobby — but is not a professional skateboarder.
