‘Real Housewives’ Yolanda Foster Lyme Disease Update: Kim Richards, NeNe Leakes, Brandi Glanville Guest On ‘RHOBH’?

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) takes place in one of the world’s most glamorous areas, and the cast members try to live up to that glitzy reputation. But amid all the glamour, Yolanda Foster has fought a very real battle with Lyme disease, reported E! News.

As part of Yolanda’s struggles with chronic Lyme disease, the reality TV star is eliminating certain beauty methods. The decision follows her physician’s discovery that Foster had a ruptured 20-year-old silicone implant.

“Homeward bound, grateful and down to the bare bone of the original 1964 model……#NoMoreImplants #NoMoreBotox #NoMoreExtensions #NoMoreHighlights #NoMoreNailPolish #ToxicFree…Forced to honor my authentic self and respectfully own it!!! #MyHealthJourney #SearchingForaCure,” wrote Yolanda for the caption of herself traveling on a plane.

Last year, Foster experienced a relapse after fighting Lyme disease for three years. She shared that it took a year to be correctly diagnosed, followed by a search for a cure. After trying long-term antibiotics, Yolanda then decided to segue to holistic options. But Foster estimated her recovery at 60 percent prior to her relapse.

As the Inquisitr reported, Avril Lavigne also is battling Lyme disease. Transmitted to humans by a tick infected with the bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi, that tiny creature attaches itself to the body and, just by clinging there for 36 to 48 hours, transmits the disease to its human recipient.

After someone gets infected, 80 percent notice a rash. It looks like a target for shooting: The center may be a solid red with a white ring around it. In addition, those infected might feel feverish or chilly and experience an aching sensation or pain. But progressive symptoms can be devastating.

For those with chronic or persistent Lyme disease, such as Yolanda, symptoms can include exhaustion, muscle aches, and cognitive dysfunction. But Foster has carried on with her life, including starring on RHOBH.

Andy Cohen has succeeded in keeping the Beverly Hills part of his Real Housewives franchise intriguing with cast changes in recent years, and now he’s making sure that happens this season by hinting at the possible return of one of the most dramatic and debate-prone cast members, Brandi Glanville, reported People.

Talking with Howard Stern, Andy revealed that he would like to have Brandi return to Real Housewives. After the 42-year-old had run-ins with most of the cast, however, it was revealed in summer that she would not be a regular star on the next season.

“Brandi would be happy to come back on the show, and we’ll probably see her in guest capacity,” revealed an insider.

Cohen explained that he feels the problem was Glanville’s isolation among the rest of the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills cast members.

“She got isolated to a point over two seasons where she was on an island….none of them want to be with her,” admitted Andy.

But even if Brandi remains on that island when she guests, the other cast members can look forward to some new Real Housewives in the prestigious neighborhood, reported E! News.

Kathryn Edwards, the wife of retired NFL player Donnie Edwards, and Erika Jayne, known for songs such as “Rollercoaster” and “Stars,” are joining Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson, and Yolanda Foster, all of whom are anticipated to star on the show again.

As noted, Brandi is expected to guest-star. But what of RHOBH cast member Kim Richards? She might also cameo but will not be full time following problems that include arrests and rehab stays.

And someone who also would like to appear on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is NeNe Leakes, reported Access Hollywood.

Although she exited The Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe feels she’d be a great addition to RHOBH.

“I would love to join the Beverly Hills ‘Housewives.’ I’d be the only brown girl there,” pointed out Leakes.

“[I’d love] to fight those girls a little bit. They need a brown girl, I promise. I’d love to do it,” she said with a smile.

Among those on the cast who might be fighting during the upcoming season, however, don’t look for the Richards sisters.

Confirmed by Lisa Vanderpump, the reconciliation follows the battle between the two sisters that played out on the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Just in time to celebrate Kim’s 51st birthday, the Richards siblings got together and became friends again.

“I’m sure it’s a complex relationship, but they seemed happy,” said Vanderpump. “The most important thing is [Kim’s] sobriety.”

Richards’ April arrest included charges of resisting arrest, battery, and public intoxication, followed by an August arrest based on allegations that she shoplifted.
