Shannon Beador Defends Herself And Meghan King Edmonds After ‘RHOC’ Reunion, Says Nothing Is Scripted With Them

According to Shannon Beador, it’s all real when it comes to her and Meghan King Edmonds. On Friday, a day after filming The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 reunion show, Shannon defended herself and Meghan from the accusation that they’re just playing up the drama for TV.

On Friday, Shannon posted a photo of herself posing with her hair stylist and makeup artist prior to filming the reunion show. The photo shows that for her second reunion show, Shannon wore a purple sheath dress, accessorized with a chunky necklace. She kept her makeup natural looking, and her hair was left down in soft curls.

After others wrote some comments about the current season, a viewer chimed in to say that the reality TV show isn’t all that real. The viewer commented that Vicki Gunvalson has admitted herself that much of the show is scripted. The viewer wrote that Vicki did an interview in which she said that she and her daughter, Briana Culberson, rehearsed the scene in which Briana told her about her elopement three times and even discussed it prior to filming. The viewer added that Meghan was hired to play the villain and troublemaker this season, and she’s doing it well.

Shannon was seemingly very bothered by the accusation that she’s just playing a role. She took the time to respond, stating that nothing is fake is with her. Shannon maintained that what viewers see of her on the screen is how she is in real life. Shannon also maintained that everything about Meghan is real. As for the viewer’s comment about Vicki, Shannon said she has no knowledge of what happened prior to her joining the show.

“I will tell you with 100% honesty that NOTHING is scripted with me. I also know for a fact that nothing is scripted with Meghan. I know nothing about what Vicki admitted in a season prior to my joining, but everyone I know says there is not one bit of difference with me on or off camera. Don’t even plan my outfits ahead of time. Just throw something on…”

Shannon Beador’s need to defend both herself and Meghan suggests that she and Meghan are closer now than they were at the beginning of filming the tenth season. Early on in Season 10, Shannon and Meghan had a bit of drama with one another after Meghan, seeking help for a charity event, felt dismissed and ignored by Shannon. In retaliation, Meghan didn’t invite Shannon to the event. As the season progressed and the central story line became Meghan’s questioning and investigation of Brooks Ayers’ cancer claim, Shannon expressed shock over Meghan’s actions and stood by Vicki Gunvalson.

Yet in the last few episodes, Shannon’s friendship with Vicki quickly soured after Shannon told Vicki to just offer medical proof that Brooks really does have cancer. Vicki, feeling betrayed by Shannon, declared that Shannon has drunk the Kool-Aid, meaning that she has been duped by Meghan’s scheming ways. Viewers will apparently see Shannon’s friendship with Vicki deteriorate even further. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Shannon said two weeks ago that the season finale can be described as “Shannon vs. Vicki.” Shannon also admitted that she and Vicki have not talked since filming for the season ended, which means that they’ll have to hash out their disagreements on the reunion show.

Another photo that Shannon Beador posted after The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 reunion show hints that she got even closer to Meghan King Edmonds after the day ended. The photo shows that Shannon sat on the same couch with Tamra Judge and Meghan King Edmonds, opposite from Vicki Gunvalson and Heather Dubrow. Shannon captioned the photo, which shows all three women smiling and leaning in towards one another, “our side.” Meghan re-posted the photo and added that they “survived with a little help from our friends.”
