Although it has been rumored that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards is currently in a feud with her sister Kathy Hilton over Kim Richard's troubled life, new reports indicate that the siblings are actually getting along just fine.
According to Design & Trend, the rumors of a feud surfaced after it was made known that Kyle and Kathy each celebrated Kim's birthday party separately. Although All About the Tea reported that this was a clear indication that the sisters were fighting with each other, Kathy cleared things up in a post to the outlet.
If things are fine between the two siblings, then why did Kathy not show up to Kim's party with Kyle Richards? As she went on to explain, Kathy was absent due to a recent tragedy that befell a close friend.
"The reason I wasn't at Kim's birthday celebration on the 19th [of September] if you must know is because one of my friends, since I was six years old, died of brain cancer the night before," she told the outlet. "I spent the 19th mourning and was not in a celebratory mood."
Kathy also stated that there was a piece written about her friend in the LA Times, which further substantiates her claims as to why she was not able to attend her sister's birthday party. "If you're interested and would like to read more, there is a beautiful tribute to her in the LA times today," Kathy explained. "You can also donate to the cancer foundation and support others suffering the same."
Meanwhile, in addition to her celebrations with both sisters, Kim was also treated to a birthday bash by a few former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars. In fact, both Brandi Glanville and Yolanda Foster took Kim out for a special treat in honor of her recent birthday. Following their little get together, Glanville uploaded an image of the three on her Twitter account.
"Birthday lunch for my friend @KimRichards11 with the strong & Amazing @YolandaHFoster #realfriends," Glanville wrote alongside the photo.
Although Kim is no longer a part of the show, it is a good sign that some of her former co-stars are taking the time to show her support and help her in any way they can.
At the same time, Kim, who was actually born on September 19, also took to social media to in honor of her outing with Glanville and Foster. "I had a great birthday lunch with my girls…xoxo @yolandahfoster @thebrandiglanville love you," Kim wrote with on her Instagram post.
Rumors of feuding aside, it appears as though Kim is getting the support she needs to make it through her recent hardships. As fans may recall, Kim was forced to leave the hit reality show after a few public incidents, which were a result of her struggles with substance abuse.
With Kim still on the mend and learning to deal with her all her problems, it is also definitely good to know that her sisters are not fighting with each other over her troubled life. This show of family solidarity should go a long ways in helping Kim recover and beat her substance abuse problems.
Kyle Richards, but not sister Kim, will return for Season 6 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2016.
