Megan Fox And Brian Austin Green Spend Time With Kids Following Divorce News, Will They Reconcile?

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green may have shocked fans with the news of their impending divorce in August, but it appears both Fox and Green are committed to remaining amicable exes for the sake of their children.

Just weeks after Megan Fox was photographed without her wedding ring for the first time since filing for divorce from Green, both Megan and Brian were spotted reuniting in Toluca Lake, CA, to spend time with their oldest son, Noah, and Green’s parents, E! News confirms.

Both Megan and Brian opted for a casual look in sweatpants and a t-shirt while photographers caught the duo smiling and laughing with Green’s parents.

While Brian Austin Green made headlines last month for continuing to wear his wedding ring despite Fox’s request for divorce, neither Megan nor Brian were wearing their wedding ring at the time of their meeting on Friday.

The news comes just a little over a month after sources close to Fox and Green confirmed to several outlets that Megan and Brian have decided to end their five-year marriage and nearly 11-year relationship.

A source close to Fox explains to People that Megan’s decision to file for divorce stems from her desire to get back into acting while husband Green felt she needed to spend more time with the family.

The insider called Megan and Brian’s split a “classic Hollywood story of two people in different stages of life and career,” before noting that Green is asking Fox to commit “more of her time than she can allow” to their family.

Similarly, the source alleges that Fox’s desire to get back into acting caused “many disagreements and arguments” about the time she should spend at home versus work, noting that it got in the way of Fox’s various work responsibilities.

In addition, sources explained to Us Weekly that “things have been rocky” in the duo’s marriage before confirming that it was Megan who decided to separate from Green nearly “six months ago.”

Currently, both Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are requesting joint custody of their sons, Noah, 2, and Bodhi, 20 months.

While neither Fox nor Green have spoken out regarding the rumors surrounding their impending divorce, Fox recently made a rare appearance on social media when she shared a sultry black-and-white selfie to her personal Instagram account.

Currently, little is known regarding the details of Megan and Brian’s divorce proceedings, however, recent reports have confirmed that Green is requesting spousal support from Fox due to his debilitating vertigo that resulted from a car crash the former couple was involved in last December, Esquire reports.

Green’s last acting role occurred in 2014 in the film Don’t Blink while Fox most recently appeared in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Despite the couple’s decision to move forward with their divorce proceedings, fans continue to hold out hope that Fox and Green will reunite in the future.

Fox and Green notoriously called off their three-year engagement in 2009, but soon reunited in 2010 to wed at the Four Seasons in Hawaii.

Similarly, Fox previously explained to Cosmopolitan magazine in the publication’s August 2014 issue that while she doesn’t see divorce in the future for herself and Green, she “can’t imagine a scenario” where she and Green couldn’t work through their differences.

While Fox’s hopes to get back into acting may have caused turmoil in her marriage with Green, it looks as though the Transformers actress is already dedicating herself to taking on more work projects.

Fox was most recently named the newest cast member to join New Girl while the series’ star, Zooey Deschanel, goes on maternity leave.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Fox has been cast in several episodes for next year’s fifth season of the hit comedy series, explaining that Fox’s character, Reagan, will be renting out the room that Deschanel’s character, Jess, currently occupies.

Fox’s character is describes as a “gorgeous, straight-shooting pharmaceutical sales rep who comes to town on business and shakes things up in the loft.”

Megan Fox is set to appear in the sixth episode of the next season of New Girl while also working on the upcoming TMNT sequel.
