Reality Star Leah Messer Shares Facebook And Twitter Updates After ‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 6: ‘No One Really Knows’

Reality star Leah Messer has been facing rumors of drug abuse, unfit parenting, and infidelity for the last several months, but that hasn’t stopped the Teen Mom 2 star from continuing to interact with fans on social media. This week, the reality star surfaced on both Twitter and Facebook, where she shared a couple of updates with her many fans.

After sharing the above retweet with fans on Twitter, the reality star took to Facebook, where she shared a meme, which read, “THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Your value does not decrease based on someone’s inability to see your worth.”

During the sixth season of Teen Mom 2, the reality star was seen going through her second divorce and traveling to Arizona for treatment for issues of anxiety and depression. After being accused of cheating on Jeremy Calvert in October 2014, Messer’s then-husband filed for divorce and began dating someone new months later. Meanwhile, she was left as a single mother of three children, who was clearly struggling with her responsibilities. On the show, the reality star was targeted with “bad mom” claims due to her questionable schedule for her children.

During one episode, the reality star was seen arriving home at 10 p.m. and feeding her kids dinner a short while later. Then, just before midnight, Messer’s twin girls, who had school the next morning, were put to bed. In another scene, Messer’s first husband, Corey Simms, alleged his daughter Aleeah had been forced to cook breakfast for herself in the toaster due to her mother’s failure to wake up. Messer was then seen seemingly nodding out while holding her brother’s baby. As she slurred her words, the reality star was seen leaning forwards as if she was about to fall asleep. Luckily, a friend quickly took the baby before she was harmed.

While Messer has continuously denied allegations of drug use, rumors have continued to swirl after fans witnessed her season six behavior. According to Messer, her issues were only with mental health. However, she did admit at one point to feeling as if she was becoming dependent on pain pills prescribed to her after the birth of her third child, Adalynn, in 2013. The reality star also claimed to be taking prescription medicine to help with intense headaches, although it is unclear if she’s still on any of the medications.

Meanwhile, Simms took to Twitter last month, where he claimed to have good reason to believe the reality star was hiding a drug problem.

“Idk why I’m tweeting this because I honestly do not care what people think or what they say about me but anyways. There is a reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done. We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. There is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true. If we didn’t care about the girls or the situation we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it.”

For more of reality star Leah Messer, tune into the second half of the Teen Mom 2 Season 6 reunion on Wednesday, October 7 at 9 p.m. The reality star’s ex-husband, Corey Simms, and his wife, Miranda, as well as Messer’s second husband, Jeremy Calvert, will also be seen.
