Bam Margera Hospitalized After 100 Foot Kayak Fall

Bam Margera is still, and will forever be, a Jackass. The former MTV star is still putting himself in ridiculously dangerous situations. Margera’s latest stunt, Kayaking down a 100-foot waterfall, landed Margera in the hospital.

Margera said that he underwent a hernia operation after taking the 100 foot plunge. The Daily Mail reports that Margera was paddling with pro kayaker Steve Fisher. It isn’t clear if Fisher was also injured in the accident.

Margera wrote on Twitter:

“Just did a 100ft tandem kayak jump with pro kayaker Steve Fisher in Oregon!”

Followed shortly after by:

“Hernia operation after 100ft kayak drop.”

Last year, Ryan Dunn, one of the members of the Jackass crew was killed in a high speed crash.

After the incident, Margera, who was best friends with Dunn, said:

‘It was the worst phone call I ever got in my life waking up to that. I’ve never lost anybody that I cared about. It’s my best friend… He was the happiest person ever, the smartest guy. He had so much talent, and he had so many things going for him. This is not right, not right.”

Margera looks pretty banged up in his hospital photo but he’ll live to do a few more stupid things.
