Are Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris getting married?
Rumors about a Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris engagement have run wild in recent weeks, but the “Wildest Dream” singer isn’t having any of it.
In fact, if her recent tweet dismissing the rumors is any indication, Calvin Harris’ girlfriend doesn’t have time to listen to all the rumors swirling around her relationship with her Scottish beau.
Swift is too busy playing concerts and bringing special guests on stage.

Notice, Swift didn’t exactly deny or confirm the rumors about a marriage to Calvin Harris, so her tweet isn’t likely to quell rumors anytime soon — especially since reports have indicated that the Scottish DJ was recently seen shopping for a $1.4 million engagement ring.
According to OK! Magazine, Calvin was looking at rings at XIV Karats in Beverly Hills in September and would like to propose to the pop superstar before the end of October. The tabloid also reported that the couple were looking at venues, including Coworth Park Hotel near London. The pair have been dating since February.
Though the tweet from Swift may not indicate her long-term plans, most media outlets are taking the tweet to mean that the Calvin Harris wedding rumors are just that — nothing more than rumors.
Shortly after the tweet in which she slammed the marriage rumors, Swift took the stage with Nelly to perform the rapper’s hit song, “Hot in Herre.” Learn more about the St. Louis concert Taylor mentions in this video:
The “Bad Blood” singer may not be willing to confirm reports of a wedding with Calvin, but that hasn’t stopped Harris from opening up about Taylor. Earlier this summer, Calvin Harris told a Manchester radio station that he was “insanely happy” with Taylor.
”It’s not even a case of ticking all the boxes, there’s boxes that I didn’t even know existed she ticks. It’s really ridiculous but yeah she does an incredible barbecue and she’s generally an incredible cook and human being.”
Yet, at the same time Harris talked about what an incredible human being Swift is — back in July — the 31-year-old also denied the engagement rumors.
“It’s interesting because obviously there’s different things written about it every day and even if we don’t do anything publicly for a while, someone will make something up. For me it could be a lot worse, and I’d still be, like, insanely happy with her so I’m good with it.”
The most recent wedding rumors, reported initially by OK! Magazine, indicate that the Taylor Swift-Calvin Harris wedding cost would top out at more than $2 million. The magazine also reported that the wedding would include 14 bridesmaids — which, if it were true, might not come as a surprise considering the size of Swift’s growing girl squad.
Taylor Swift also used the tweet before her St. Louis concert to slam another rumor. It’s recently been reported that Swift is purchasing the $25 million Samuel Goldwyn estate in Beverly Hills. If Taylor’s spirited tweet is any indication, that rumors is false, also.
