Corey Simms And Wife Miranda Share Custody With Leah Messer, ‘Teen Mom 2’ Admits She Doesn’t Have Primary Custody?

Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, were a hot topic during Leah Messer’s recent Q&A session on Facebook. According to a Starcasm report on September 30, Messer discussed a number of topics pertaining to her interaction with Corey Simms and his wife on Teen Mom 2, as well as their current custody agreement for their 5-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah.

During the latest episode of Teen Mom 2, the Season 6 finale, Messer had arranged to meet with Corey Simms, her first husband, to discuss their arrangement, but after discovering he had brought his wife, Miranda, along, Messer refused to go in and instead drove away. Looking back on the scene months after it was filmed, Messer admitted Corey Simms “had every right to be with his wife,” but said she preferred to speak to Corey Simms without her. As Messer recalled, Miranda wanted to sit at another table and listen in on her and Corey Simms’ conversation, which felt “very awkward and weird.”

Messer also said that if there wasn’t so many “judgmental comments,” she would have been more comfortable with Corey Simms’ wife, who is currently expecting his third child, being present.

Corey Simms and Messer tied the knot in late 2010, one year after welcoming their twins. However, months later, after Messer admitted to cheating on Corey Simms with her ex-boyfriend prior to their wedding, they parted ways.

When Messer was asked if she would ever go back to school and get an eduction, she told fans her girls needed her, but went on to reveal she wasn’t willing to have her ex-husbamd, Corey Simms, take more time with their twins.

After a fan mentioned the idea, Messer said, “I want Corey to be able to see the girls just as much as I do as the girls want to.”

Messer then denied having primary custody of the twins, confirming, “[Corey Simms] and I share custody of our girls!”

That said, Messer and Corey Simms have been locked in a custody battle for over a year now and throughout their battle, rumors have swirled regarding the possibility of Messer losing custody due to her questionable behavior on Teen Mom 2 and her recent stint in treatment. However, during her Q&A, Messer said she wasn’t worried about Corey Simms gaining full custody because her twins “know I am their mommy,” and can’t be forced away from her.

In addition to slamming Corey Simms’ wife for making judgmental comments towards her, Messer offered one last dig at Miranda, telling a fan, “Misery loves company, and I can only control my own actions not hers or anyone else.”

After his marriage to Messer ended in 2011, Corey Simms began dating Miranda. Then, in June 2013, they tied the knot. Throughout their relationship, the couple have had their ups and downs with Messer, but during Teen Mom 2 Season 6, their relationship took a turn for the worse, starting with a scene, which featured Corey Simms accusing Messer of hiding a drug problem. It later became further strained by a conversation between Corey Simms and Messer’s second husband, Jeremy Calvert. During that conversation, Calvert noted a “prescription pill problem,” and Corey Simms alleged he was often concerned for his twins’ safety.
