Watch Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Live Online: NFL Thursday Night Football, Streaming

A massively important early-season NFL divisional matchup will be available for fans to watch live online Thursday night, when the winless Baltimore Ravens head into Heinz Field looking to take down AFC North rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers and rekindle what are already the fading playoff aspirations of the two-time Super Bowl winning franchise.

Last season, the Ravens finished at a respectable 10-6, good enough to qualify for the postseason, where they knocked off the division-winning Steelers in the Wild Card playoff round, only to lose to the eventual Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots in the Divisional round.

But the 0-3 start to the new season for Baltimore has NFL experts scratching their heads, especially considering that one of those losses came to a seemingly overmatched — but apparently not — Oakland Raiders team. The other two defeats came at the hands of the Denver Broncos and currently undefeated Cincinnati Bengals, who now lead the AFC North and appear to be the strongest team in the division, especially after the injury last Sunday to Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

“Big Ben” tossed four touchdowns and passed for 912 yards in Pittsburgh’s first three games, lifting the team to a 2-1 record. The Steelers now turn to veteran Michael Vick to get them through the next month without falling out of playoff contention.

Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin told the Steelers.com site on Tuesday that he does not see any advantage for his own team in the Raven’s winless record coming into the Thursday Night Game.

“These guys are 0-3, but 0-3 doesn’t define them,” the 43-year-old, ninth-year head coach told the site. “I would imagine they are not demoralized. I would imagine they are angry. Having been in that circumstance in the past I can honestly say that is probably more the reaction when you have the type of team they have than to be demoralized. They have been in some tough football games. They are 0-3. That is what they record says, but we all acknowledge that they are a dangerous group, a talented group, one we have to get ready to do battle with on Thursday night.”

When Vick replaced the injured Roethlisberger midway through Sunday’s Steelers 12-6 win over the St. Louis Rams, he completed five of six passes for 38 yards, but also had a fumble.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens will face each other for the 39th time in the NFL regular season Thursday, with Pittsburgh leading the series 21-17. At home, Pittsburgh leads 12-7.

Each team has won two Super Bowls since they first played each other in 1996. The Ravens won in the 2000 season under Coach Brian Billick, then again in 2012 with current boss John Harbaugh at the helm.

The Steelers, who have won a record six Super Bowls in their franchise history, won in 2005 and again in 2008.

But regardless of where the two teams are in the standings, the rivalry between the Ravens and Steelers has become one of the most heated in the NFL.

“It gets my blood flowing and goosebumps running down the back of my neck,” Ravens 15-year receiver Steve Smith said on Monday. “It’s just one of those games that – man, it’s what football is all about.”

The Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game will be available to watch live online with credentials from numerous cable and satellite providers, as well as in select regions through NFL Sunday Ticket at this link— though even where available, the Sunday Ticket option comes with a subscription fee.
