Corey Simms’ Twins Spent The Weekend With His Father After The Gender Of Pregnant Miranda’s Child Was Revealed

Corey Simms and Leah Messer’s twins, five-year-olds Ali and Aleeah, spent the weekend with his father, Jeff Simms. Just days after The Ashley’s Reality Roundup revealed Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, were expecting a baby girl, whose name would start with the letter “R,” in January 2016, Corey Simms’ dad took the girls to the park.

With a photo of Corey Simms’ twin girls playing basketball, father Jeff wrote, “Ali’s got game! Gracie checks her out. #aligrace.” Along with a second photo, which was also shared on September 27, Corey Simms’ dad told fans, “Merry go round girls! #aligrace.”

In addition to having fun at a local park, Corey Simms’ twin girls also took in the sights of a fall parade.

Since Corey Simms welcomed his twin girls in 2010, his father, Jeff, and step-mom, Joletta, have been very involved in the children’s lives. They’ve also been a big part of Teen Mom 2, and often share advice with Corey Simms, who is currently involved in a custody battle with Messer over their girls.

As fans have seen on the show, Corey Simms is fighting Messer for full custody of the twins due to her being what he calls an “unfit” parent and possible drug user. Although Messer has denied having a problem or addiction with drugs, Corey Simms claimed during season six that Messer was hiding a “drug problem.” Even though Messer did seek treatment during season six, she insisted it was only to tend to her issues of anxiety and depression.

Messer went on to accuse MTV of scripting the show after watching a scene which featured Corey Simms and her second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert. According to Messer, the scene in which the two men met at a local restaurant was “scripted” and “set up.” On top of that, claimed Messer, Calvert couldn’t stand Corey Simms.

During the scene, Calvert appeared to confirm Messer was dealing with a “prescription pill problem,” but Messer insisted on Twitter that Calvert was actually talking to a producer, and MTV edited the footage to make it seem as if he was speaking to Corey Simms.

However, as seen in the photo above, which was taken in July, just after season six of Teen Mom 2 wrapped production, Calvert and Corey Simms appeared to be getting along quite well when they enjoyed a double date in Los Angeles, where they were filming the season six reunion. In addition to Corey Simms and his wife being seen in the photo, Calvert was accompanied by his girlfriend, Brooke Wehr, whom he began dating earlier this year after splitting from Messer after three years of marriage and one child, two-year-old Adalynn.

Corey Simms and Messer were married in late 2010 and divorced in spring of 2011 after Messer admitted to cheating on Corey Simms just before they wed. Corey Simms went on to wed his current wife, Miranda, in June 2013 and announced they were expecting a child sometime in the last several months.

Although Corey Simms’ baby is due sometime in January, no official due date has yet been revealed. There has also been no official confirmation of the gender by any member of the Simms family.

For more Corey Simms, tune into the Teen Mom 2 season six reunion special, starting this Thursday night, October 1, at 9 p.m. on MTV, and continuing the following week. At this point, it is unknown whether or not Corey Simms will return for a potential seventh season of the show.
