Porsha Williams is celebrating the fact that she is once again a starring housewife on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. On Monday, after Bravo released a media newsletter and the preview for the season that revealed Season 8 stars Porsha, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Kim Fields, Kandi Burruss, and Phaedra Parks. Porsha has taken to Twitter to celebrate her return.

Porsha tweeted a photo of herself holding up a big peach to her mouth while wearing a low-cut, black dress. She made it clear that she's one-of-a-kind and the real deal by stating that she's "often imitated but never duplicated." She also used the tweet to plug her hair extensions line, Go Naked Hair.

Porsha was a starring housewife on Seasons 5 and 6. For the seventh season, she was a recurring housewife. Prior to the premiere of the seventh season, Porsha revealed that she was demoted last-minute. In a statement to Us Weekly in October 2014, Porsha said she filmed the season as if she were, and believing that she was, a starring housewife. She admitted that she was "blindsided" by the decision but also expressed thanks to the show for providing her with opportunities.

In an Ask Andy segment later that year, Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen explained the producers' decision to demote Porsha. He said that the decision had nothing to do with Porsha's physical attack on Kenya Moore at the Season 6 reunion show. He explained that, at the end, the producers simply didn't get enough interesting material from Porsha to merit her holding a peach.

Despite the fact that she was only a recurring housewife on Season 7, Porsha was frequently seen on the show hanging out with the other women, particularly with her friends and allies, NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks. She also appeared on the reunion show.

Porsha will also be getting some support this season from recurring housewife Shamea Morton. Shamea's Twitter account describes her as an "actress, singer, dancer, host & on air personality." In an Instagram photo posted last Monday, Shamea described Porsha as her "bestie." A photo posted two weeks ago shows Shamea hanging out with Porsha and Phaedra Parks.

The woman who took Porsha Williams' place on the seventh season is now nowhere to be seen when it comes to the eighth season. Claudia Jordan, who filmed the seventh season as a recurring housewife but was promoted to a starring housewife role in Porsha's place, apparently won't be seen on Season 8, either as a starring or recurring housewife. On Tuesday, Bravo released a media newsletter stating the Season 8 housewives are Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams, and Kim Fields, with Shereè Whitfield and Shamea Morton as the recurring housewives. There was no mention of Claudia, nor was she seen in the preview.

So far, Claudia has remained silent on social media regarding The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Claudia's friend, both prior to and on the show, Kenya Moore, has also remained silent on Claudia's apparent departure from the show. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kenya, after reports came out that Claudia had been fired, said Claudia deserved to stay on the show.

On Tuesday, Kenya Moore posted a promotional photo of the starring housewives cast.

Newcomer Kim Fields expressed her excitement on being on the show. On Monday morning, Kim, an actress best known for her role as Tootie on Facts of Life, tweeted that she's looking forward to the season.
