Kylie Jenner recently chose her Halloween costume, and it’s not very creative — she’s going as the same mythical creature that Kim Kardashian dressed up as a few years ago. However, Kylie is tweaking her costume to suit her personal style.
According to TMZ, Kylie Jenner recently went shopping for a sexy mermaid Halloween costume at Trashy Lingerie. According to E! News, Kim Kardashian already did the mermaid thing back in 2012, when she rocked a seashell bra and a long green skirt for Midori Green’s Halloween Party. Kim K completed her look with a beachy blonde wig and a pearl necklace.
Kim Kardashian kept her tummy covered up, but Kylie Jenner is reportedly going to be a bit more daring by showing more skin. Her sexy mermaid Halloween costume will be covered with beads and rhinestones, and TMZ claims that she’s going to use “extra padding” to create more curves. This presumably means that Kylie’s sparkly seashell bra is getting modified to give her cleavage a boost.
Kylie Jenner has been plagued by breast implant rumors for the last few months, but she recently denied that she’s had any work done. According to Entertainment Tonight, she told her app subscribers that her breasts look bigger lately because she’s been wearing the Victoria’s Secret Bombshell bra.
“I don’t really share this with a lot of people, but everyone thinks I’ve gotten a breast augmentation recently. I haven’t. I just use the Bombshell by Victoria’s Secret,” Kylie said. “It’s life-changing … I’ve gotten all my sisters on it, all my friends, and if you ever want the look of bigger breasts, that’s what I do.”
Below you can see one of Trashy Lingerie’s mermaid costumes. As you can see, the top doesn’t seem to have the push-up effect that Kylie Jenner is such a big fan of.
There’s no word on whether Kylie will copy Kim K. by rocking blonde hair or whether she’ll emulate Ariel by wearing a bright red wig. Kylie loves to experiment with different hair colors, so it’s impossible to guess what she’ll do with her naturally-dark tresses. Perhaps she’ll choose an ocean-inspired hue, like sea green or coral.
Kylie Jenner seems to be a fan of swimwear, so it’s not surprising that she chose a mermaid Halloween costume. According to Cambio, she recently showed off a sexy swimwear accessory called a crystal garter that would look pretty incredible over a mermaid tail. Unfortunately, it’s only made to fit beings with legs. Kylie wore hers with a gold swimsuit.
According to Hollywood Life, Kylie also showed her love for water by getting wet and wild during a photoshoot with photographer Brendan Forbes. In a video sneak peek of the modeling session, “King Kylie” is shown hopping in a tub while wearing a white tank top and Moschino underwear.
Kylie Jenner’s mermaid Halloween costume probably won’t be dark and spooky like some of her past looks. According to Perez Hilton, she and boyfriend Tyga wore couple’s costumes in 2014, back before it was confirmed that they were actually dating. Tyga dressed up like a very scary Chucky doll, and Kylie dressed up like Chucky’s bride. However, unlike the movie character, Kylie rocked dark hair. She also sexed up her wedding wear by donning what appeared to be white lingerie.
For Halloween 2013, Kylie looked a little more covered up. However, she only gave her Instagram followers a glimpse of the back of her Wednesday Addams Halloween costume.
Kylie Jenner’s fans will undoubtedly compare her mermaid Halloween costume to Kim Kardashian’s 2012 look, but maybe this is what Kylie wants. According to Us Weekly, Kim K recently told her younger half-sister that she “has to put in a few more years” before she “dethrones” the woman who broke the internet. Perhaps Kylie is copying Kim because she wants to prove that she’s already more famous than Kim K — if she can best Mrs. Kardashian-West in a few “Who wore it better?” polls, the results with prove that she’s Kris Jenner’s most beloved daughter.
