Police Search For Porn Star After Body Parts Are Found In Mail
The Ottawa post office has discovered a few startling packages over the last few days. A decomposing foot was sent to Canada’s Conservative Party and today a human hand was found at the post office. Police in Canada are currently searching for Luka Rocco Magnotta, a male porn star, who may be behind the body parts in the mail.
According to the Vancouver Sun, Magnotta is a gay porn actor who also goes by the name Eric Clinton Newman and Vladimir Romanov. A nationwide warrant has been issued for his arrest.
The AFP reports that in addition to the body parts found in the mail, a torso was discovered in a suitcase in Montreal on Tuesday morning. Police believe that the body parts all came from the same person and are now conducting tests to confirm this theory.
A communications agent for Montreal police said:
“All indications are that these are from the same body… We are still waiting for final results.”
Montreal police spokesman Ian Lafreniere added:
“We’re missing parts of the body so it’s difficult at this time to positively identify the victim”
Lafreniere said that Magnotta does not have a police record and asked the public for help in tracking down his whereabouts.
According to the Vancouver Sun, Mangotta once posted videos of himself torturing kittens online. Mangotta also dated serial killer Karla Homolka. Homolka was convicted in 1991 in the rape and murder of two teenage girls and her sister.
According to websites like www.Luka-Magnotta.net, the incident involving the kittens and his involvement with Homolka are nothing but rumors. A paragraph on the site reads:
“Many hoax websites are created using my image and name, posing as me to seem more believable in respect to the type of audience these website have, I feel I don’t need to list them specifically but people need not be told, not to believe what they read and to take it as fact.”
Police are currently searching an apartment in Montreal where they believe the dismembering took place.
